$IE0003R87OG3 (-0.26%) AVWS: developed world small cap value, profitability and momentum screened (no negative momentum, unlike $ZPRX (-0.34%) / $ZPRV (-0.41%) )

TER 0.39%, close to ZPR* (0.3%)

Initial AUM after seeding: $11M

Note

As EU KIID regulation enforcement is quite bonkers (KIID must be in local official language for the asset to be tradable to a citizen of that specific country), they’re still untradable for the large majority of European retail investors on almost every brokerage (except IBKR, where only EN KIID is required).

German retail investors should be the first to gain access, as the DE KIID is already submitted and available on Avantis website. It’s now up to brokers to list the product with necessary documentation.

Really interesting ETF, I was waiting for something like this to finally add the Small Cap Value into my Portfolio. Would love to hear @PowerWordChill opinion on this ETF. Only thing holding me back is the active management.

@joaoluis if you’re interested, you can listen to this podcast, they directly interview the Avantis CIO https://youtu.be/OlCuIJ6ow-c?si=mt5UTVOMo_ZYk9GI

The most active (and in my opinion the only relevant active part, as the rest is mostly indexed, albeit with their custom methodology) is their use of sell/buy baskets for constituents. IIRC, there is a section that goes into detail in that specific episode
@deodorhunter Thank you very much! I believe I might have started listening to it but I have not finished it. Have a nice rest of your day.

@joaoluis I already have the ETF on my watchlist, but I still have to look at it in detail, but at first glance the ETF seems interesting for me
@PowerWordChill Would love a post from you talking about it. You have some great points of view. Thank you for the answer!
