What do you do with dead stocks?

what do you think?

I have had 4 positions for a long time and although they are large companies, I don't know what to do with them. I look forward to many messages.

what do you think?

thanks

Cut hard, sell and reallocate to good stocks.
Even if it hurts, the capital is completely dead.

@G_with_shares but that's really hard -3K

@financial_genius_3172 the other way around: what is the probability that the shares you currently hold will ever catch up with the 3k? And then you are only +/-0. Keyword opportunity costs. Get rid of it, reallocate and good.

still have to do an analysis of each company. If the fundamental figures are right, I would perhaps not write them off completely yet. The forecasts/estimates are also important.

Relaxed selling at a loss. This fills the loss pot and saves tax on sales at a profit

I always leave ProSieben (but there were only 100 back then) in as a memorial😃

@Ayecaramba256 I am also a victim here. -2500 € in the sand. As the saying goes, a sorrow shared is a sorrow halved 😉
profile image
@DenisVidukic haha that's more than a 100. yes, I had no idea back then and bought things I knew. Except for ProSieben, it went well

@Ayecaramba256 Me too. At the time, I thought they were launching Joyn as competition for Netflix and Amazon Prime, which was going through the roof. And the high dividend yield at the time completely blinded me. Well. Fiddlesticks. Another good one ✌️👍💪

@DenisVidukic The main thing is to learn from it

I would sell three and invest the money in $XPEV. That's the only one where I see a very good chance of making a significant profit in the end.
profile image
@Multibagger I was also thinking about these, but wanted to invest in $IREN with x3 leverage tomorrow. Isn't that your thing?

profile image
@financial_genius_3172 Yes, that's an idea. I'm also in there with low leverage and in the share too, of course
profile image
@Multibagger What kind of lever do you have?

That's not a small lever. That's 5🤔that's full risk

@financial_genius_3172 We have a different opinion on that. I don't normally trade below 5 at all.😉😂

@financial_genius_3172 Leverage 20 is normal for me, but I am also more interested in indices

@Ayecaramba256 You need that too

Take a look here #fehlkauf

What would you do with a share like $CSU? The quality of the company is actually great
profile image
@Cyonix no idea when you bought them
profile image
@financial_genius_3172 at around € 2800, it will take a few years for the share to get there. I also think that the market is exaggerating too much.
profile image
@Cyonix but that is a loss of 60%
profile image
@financial_genius_3172 am at just under -45%
profile image
@Cyonix How large was the sum?
Just ask yourself where the companies could be in 2 years' time. If you see potential, keep them, if not, get rid of them. The clearing pot will thank you.
profile image
@Peka Well, that's true about the clearing pot, but -3K is also ouch!
@financial_genius_3172 then keep on holding, everyone pays empty money is part of it. I can only say that I personally should have held on longer in the past. Most of the companies have come back. But they weren't just small companies either.
profile image
Well, $PYPL is not small either.
