Further purchases United Health 🚀

$UNH (-2.07%)

Exciting to watch, someone is likely to keep charging strongly here.

➡️ It's not me! 😂🤣

Not an insignificant amount, probably some investor 🤔 !

No investment for you? No good risk/reward ratio? Too much uncertainty about the future?

Think that a lot of negative things are already priced in here ✌️

We'll see in a few weeks when Berkshire discloses the transactions.

@Tenbagger2024 Don't know if this rumor can be true, don't think Berkshire invests in uncertainty. And not an investment for you?

@BamBamInvest
Just bought something else 🙈

I'm not so positive about health insurance.
Rising healthcare costs, which can no longer be passed on 1:1 to the premiums.
That means falling margins. Look at the German GKV.
And Kennedy is still breathing down its neck

@Tenbagger2024 the German health system is very different from the American system, it works differently and cannot be compared, rising costs are generally adjusted. Yes, rising costs put pressure on margins, but there are also high basic deductibles and the business model is not just about health insurance. Have you ever looked at how the system works? There are YouTube videos about it. Lg

@Tenbagger2024 Berkshire is not. They sold UNH 20 years ago and Buffet has also spoken negatively about health insurance

@BamBamInvest
Yes, I realize that you can't make a 1-to-1 comparison.
But nevertheless, rising healthcare costs are putting pressure on margins in both systems

@Tenbagger2024
I see normal insurance as more attractive

@Soprano
I have also made negative comments about health insurance and agree with Buffet.

@Tenbagger2024 I think that $UNH could possibly benefit from a sector rotation or market correction or volatile phase in the summer, as was already the case before the crash, as the market corrected and $UNH ran against the trend and provided, of course, the situation has calmed down again.

@BamBamInvest
Of course, the sell-off at United health was exaggerated. (Similar to what happened with Elf Beauty). So of course I see potential and a recovery.
But I wouldn't invest for the long term because I keep seeing problems
And Buffet is an insurance expert, so I value his opinion.

I even traded it briefly at $UNH, then got out at €285 and recently got back in. But with my current buy-in of €269, I'm slightly in the red. But what's the word...

@BamBamInvest but it is not a long-term investment, so I will say goodbye again

@Ayecaramba256 some insider information for us ? 😁

Definitely looks like a Buffett thing to me. Value, insurance and US group.

@RealMichaelScott Buffet says health insurance is the worst type of insurance (as an investment)

@RealMichaelScott the news would then certainly bring upside potential and security for many investors and the share price would probably recover well in the medium term, would not mind 😁

@Soprano That may well be the case. But perhaps it is a purchase from his crown princes. Buffett has been withdrawing from operational decisions for some time now. I'm not saying it necessarily has to be Berkshire, but it could at least fit.

With an EK of €245, I'm staying in until everyone has calmed down....

For me, this is not a trading investment at the moment. I expect a continued sideways phase between 280 and 325$. As they are currently pretty much in the middle, it is not interesting for me. I have achieved very good returns very quickly twice with trades on it (once long, once short) and I think there are better opportunities at the moment. Maybe when they clearly reach the limits again

Just as I suspected. UNH is being targeted with negative headlines in order to get in cheaply.
I find it astonishing that the price remains so stable with such massive purchases. After all, there must be corresponding sellers available.
@BamBamInvest Where are the screenshots from? Is it even possible to deduce from them that they are purchases or even insider purchases? Because it is OTC? The volume on the NYSE is rather flat, which would indicate a bear flag...

@mco basically from Interavtive Brokers TWS (Trader Workstation), but can also be found at:

Boring. Where is the news? Even the cashier at the discount store knew last week that Buffet was buying UNH shares.
