Milestone reached🎊🎉

I'm turning 18 this year and have reached a milestone!

✨4 digits✨ Portfolio value🥹

I know it's not much, especially when I look at all the portfolios here,

but somehow I'm still proud drauf🙂‍↕️

I started investing every two months when I was 16 and now invest in my portfolio every month :)

Nice!
Have you ever thought about getting hold of @Multibagger and following in his footsteps? He can do something!

@Epi already on the road as a promoter? 😂 Thanks for the flowers. I'm glad to hear something like this from such a competent source. 😎😉

@Epi However, it will be difficult to follow me with this portfolio. It's already very solidly built up with ETFs.

@Multibagger Well, it's 1000€ and the time to learn the stock market. I could also have recommended 3xGTAA, but you need a minimum of €2000 for that because of the trading costs.
He can still do an ETF savings plan when he has a lot of capital coming in and is planning for retirement.

@Epi My reference was also more to these many ETFs. That tends to indicate a risk-averse person 😉 So it's the furthest thing from my mind.

@Multibagger You must mean risk-averse, right?

@Epi But he is a savings plan investor, why do you recommend trading to him?

@Epi yes, I expressed myself incorrectly

@Soprano It wasn't really a recommendation, but food for thought.
With your capital and age, you can take a bolder approach, learn from it and go back to ETF saving for your pension later on.

@Epi Yes, this is understandable from a mathematical point of view, but personality also plays a role. At the end of the day, it's also about being able to sleep well with your investment. I assume you came up with the idea because Multibagger is also a youngster? I definitely appreciate you both and you're never wrong to listen, but I know how it feels as a beginner when you invest a bit more aggressively and it backfires ^^

@Soprano I came to @Multibagger because he wants to trade a 3k portfolio up to 100k in a few years and it looks good at the moment. A 1k ETF portfolio takes about 50 years to reach 30k. Then working life is over.

In financial theory, the return succession risk is significantly reduced at a young age, so that you MUST take an above-average risk on a risk-adjusted basis in order to be able to drastically reduce it before retirement and thus arrive at the optimal average risk over your own lifetime.

But that would have been too complicated to explain. Hence my simple hint.

You're further ahead than 99% of your peers. Just keep going, raise if your income allows and don't forget to put some money aside for fun and hobbies. 😁

Good to see this bro but you also have to spend money on assests. I am Also 20 and have my own bakery resturant in Norway.

What a great achievement. Few people your age have the foresight to have this topic on their radar. Keep at it and everything will be fine

Just keep on going, the value will then grow automatically down the road

Congrats for the milestone. Lets get the next ones 🚀
You are starting to invest early in age compared to mostly people, which is a good practice even if you face some obstacles on start.
Don't compare values with anyone especially here where there are a lot of various amounts of money. Profit and performance is what matters ;)
Good luck with your stocks :D

Very good, never look at others. Unless you can learn something. And don't forget, $BTC

Even small animals make dung. Just stay on the ball and sensible 👍🏼
If I had been this far at the age of 18 ... I would be rich today :)

Time in the market is a highly underestimated lever.

@lukasdcun At 18, the real treasure isn't the money in the bank, but all the potential you have ahead of you.
Human capital - that combination of time, energy, ability to learn and grow - is worth much more than any four-digit figure. You have at least a decade to develop skills, build relationships, gain experience and increase your income-generating capacity.
It's fantastic that at 18 you already have the habit of investing, and considering that the first holding in your portfolio is swda , I'd say you've already grasped the investment concept better than many others.
When I read your post I thought: amazing stuff! Study, make mistakes and grow.
You're on the right path, friend.

Congratulations the journey is the reward . Keep going :)
Congratulations on your personal goal.
Don't be discouraged by other people's figures or belittle yourself. There will always be at least one person who is richer than you. Concentrate on your life situation. One of them has probably been around for 50 years. With your portfolio, you are certainly better positioned in your age group than 90% of your colleagues.
I later spent my confirmation money on drugs and parties. That was cool too, but less helpful in terms of building wealth.
I like your selection of ETFs. Not just the ETF to read over and over, but seemingly real thought behind it.
Congratulations again and keep up the good work.
