Tesla flying cars opinions?

attachment

I am really curious to hear your thoughts on Tesla's new flying system. From my point of view, it is a great engineering achievement, but it isn't practical for real-world use (I know there are very limited scenarios where it can be useful, but that is not my main point of contention). I feel it is just a show-off of how good their engineers are, but it won’t sell more cars. Also, the show was without a pilot. People driving cars that can flip is an insurance nightmare, and I don’t think regulators will approve these features for use on the road.

It’s just unusable piece of crap just to give people something to speak about. Doesn’t solve any practical problem. Useless

@Fasani you will soon understand that you‘re wrong. When the first car came out they said the same and jumped on their horses. Seeing your comment creates concerns about your investments. Anyhow, good luck and all the best.

Sorry guys but an honest opinion is just that. Might be of course wrong in the future but counts as valid. This is not comparing wheels with horses sorry but it’s completely different.
Also is not a flying car like you can see in Blade Runner. It’s almost a joke but if you like it and think is the future then good luck with your investments to you all

@Fasani sure pattern…“It’s completely something different“ - Take care mate and all the best.

In my opinion, it's a show of strength and capability; it may have practical uses, but that's for the future. Right now, they're just showing off—because they can and because they want to. Long Tesla & SpaceX

I agree it's something useless today and it won't be permitted on normal traffic. On the other hand, it could be the beginning of something in the middle or long term.

@MikeUpegui It will, definitely. And think about all the incredible opportunities this offers for the Industrie.

Toys of the extremely rich. Which solves absolutely no societal problem. Funded by the investments of our... they have so much money they don't know what to do with it anymore. If you can do this, cure cancer.

Nice tech demo, but i think the only relevant part is the suction technology to have more traction.

I see real usage scenarios in improving performance but mainly in security. Think about a frontal accident when the car manages to stop in a few meters and something like that...
