Stock got a touch to heavy in my portfolio

I went into the greedy mode when other were fearful in the the when $NVDA (-1.45%) dipped to around 100$. As we all know it rebounded a lot since then. Im thinking about unloading some stock or selling the entire position after Aug 27 when they announce their earnanings.

My concerns:

Im a bit concerned that the market might be heating up and that a correction is comming in sep, oct.

Everyone is saying $NVDA (-1.45%) will skyrocekt after their earnings because MAG7 is spending so much on AI. Hovewer it seems a bit to hyped and it looks others are greedy :D.

What are your thoughts on this, do you think I should take my gains on Nvidia and put it in a warchest when the next drop comes?

I might sell half my position now and other half after Aug 27th just to be safe if their earings arent gonna grow like magic beans.

Same on my side. $PLTR skyrocketed and now is 31% of my portfolio, stocks in total approximately 70%. Therefore I’m currently looking at the share of my investments where ETFs are 45% (goal >50%). I’ll stick to my plan, will simply hold my Palantir position and wait until that grows out. Why should you miss out on further gains for your growth stock NVIDIA?
@NoBobble its mor that I would like to be prepared for the autumn post election year cooldown and the possibility that the fed doesn’t cut rates in September causing a 10-15% correction and ofc there is an inevitable post summer sell off if there is a 10% boost in nvidia.

@financial_guru_guqju also one scenario that comes to my mind. But as I’m invested longterm that doesn’t matter much to me. This means, of course, that it also depends on your strategy.
@NoBobble maybe to give some context on my position I have 5k of liquid cash on the side. My salary is high enough so I dont need to worry about if im gonna have money.
My thinking is more about having the chance of buying a correction than actually nvidia going bust.

NVIDIA is the one stock I surely will not sell before 2030 (if not later). Major reason: I can not find a company with better data points.

And regarding selling and waiting for „the dip“: This has proven time and time again to be an inferior strategy. Time in the market beats timing the market in the long run. Always.
