Will the release of GTA VI be postponed?

Journalist and industry insider Jason Schreier stated on X that he had spoken to six employees of developer studio Rockstar Games - none of whom knew anything about a delay to the release. However, Schreier also says that something can always be delayed with a game of this size.

It would be assy if they just recently claimed that there was no shift.

@Alumdria less assy than releasing a half-finished game like all sorts of other game studios have done as standard. I would be more convinced by the management than the other way around.

@Hofi Of course, you're right. I also prefer to wait. But then you don't just recently claim that it won't be postponed and that you're on schedule.
