UnitedHealth complies with formal criminal and civil requests from the US Department of Justice

$UNH (+2.15%)

UnitedHealth Group $UNH (+2.15%) says it is complying with civil and criminal inquiries from the Department of Justice related to its Medicare activities. The company said it proactively reached out after media reports surfaced and remains confident in its practices. UNH has also initiated an independent review of its coding, managed care and pharmacy policies to increase transparency. A timeline for the Department of Justice review has not yet been determined.

Whatever the reason for the sell-off, this actually creates transparency and thought this was already initiated/known.

Crazy world of shares. Clarification is met with strong sell-offs.
I actually wanted to get in, but now I'm more than unsure whether and if so, when I should invest.

@Jarod Backgrounds will follow, but I also believe that this could turn around soon. I have the feeling that they want to get it out of the way so that it no longer drags on and weighs them down and actually see this as a positive buying the dip opportunity. I think the results will also be good and we will soon see higher share prices. ✌️

@BamBamInvest It will be interesting and remains to be observed. Right now I'd rather wait, who knows if other things will come up as we sort out the situation.

@BamBamInvest I have United Health in my portfolio as a normal long-term investment. Now, however, I would like to go in with leverage for a short time, but I'm unsure whether I should do this before or after 3:30 pm... how do you see it? 🤯🤭

@Jarod Well, Tuesday's figures could point the way, there will be questions. Do as you see fit empfindest✌️

@Klein-Anleger1 I would wait for Wall Street to open, we may see a downward exaggeration. But of course it could also go the other way with further statements.

It is usually good to devalue at the end of the day and then go in before the close if the direction is clear.

But of course you can also gamble, depending on the size you intend to invest, you need to know. ☺️

@BamBamInvest since I'm 16 years old and my deposit is just under €10,000, I go into certificate and warrants with €100 per trade, with a leverage between six and nine I still feel comfortable and still have a chance of a good return... I think I'll wait for Roll Street to open as the spread on most warrants is going down 🙈😅 (at least from the US banks)

@Klein-Anleger1 do that, in my experience it's always better to let Wall Street open first as there is usually more clarity then. Getting in at 21:45 was the better approach 80% of the time in my experience. If I had bought before that, before opening, I usually made further purchases 🤣
