I have the solution to Trump's new optimization proposal. I don't think it's important whether it goes through or not. I find the

solution is definitely very attractive:

$EXUS (+0.54%) 😎

This could be my next great investment 🤪

What is the plan now? A 3 ETF portfolio, something like that?
- MSCI World ex USA (EXUS)
- MSCI Emerging Markets
- MSCI USA / SP500

@SatsStacker That wouldn't be such a bad plan in any case.

I don't really know, it keeps coming back to my mind. But for long-term investment: What do we do when the American market (or president) normalizes again? Then we want to have a reasonably market-capitalized, forecast-priced PF again. Suddenly the USA would perhaps be underweighted. Then sell the ex-US ETF again? Pay taxes on any profits? Back and forth, empty pockets?
I don't know, I'd rather buy my 0815 $SPPW (which rebalances itself anyway), be happy about lower prices and not be irritated by the daily news.

@Ironman2022 The advantage of the MSCI USA or the S&P500 would be that you could do a certain amount of market timing and take the currency and GDP into account in the allocation size. In the long term, you will definitely do well with the market capitalization index. But you're not 100% convinced? Otherwise you would rather opt for a FTSE All World or MSCI ACWI.

@_Hippo_ You are absolutely right. But if I then start to weight my passive PF with an additional USA ETF, my passive PF will become relatively active and the ETFs will become more and more. That's what I want to avoid with passive investing (which is actually an illusion anyway).
True, an All World ETF with just one position is probably the noblest of all solutions. If I were to start all over again, it would be like this.
