Interesting to me is (Defensive) Eurocentric Quantity Proven Industries Portfolio (Offensive) Oskar 80 Morningstar Simple Or do you find them all rather dumb?
••
@willemkly I think it makes sense to start with a 40-30-30 portfolio with FTSE North America, Stoxx Europe 600 and Emerging markets.

@willemkly Yes, it is best to keep it simple at first. Over time, you can also move out in other directions with e.g. 10% until you are more confident with the stock market.

•@Epi or rigid the Xtrackers USA rather the vanguard S&P 500 ?
••
@Epi @willemkly think then that would be even better because have seen as in the constellation above. Has the strategy not better than the S&P 500 performnt so have looked up

@willemkly The allocation is solid, a classic. Whether USA or SP500, you can think about it at your leisure. Study best the admission criteria and the Top10 and take, with which you can identify yourself in the long term. Maybe there are also optimizations for Euro and EM?
••
@Epi @Epi by the way sorry that I write so much haha. thanks that you come there so much time, is not natural!!! Yes so at the North America mid-sized companies are weighted a little higher. what are you thinking of the Stoxx 600 and EMI ?

@willemkly I'm not thinking of anything in particular. I don't want to take away the fun of finding something yourself. Just pointing out that you can take the sample portfolios as a guideline, which is not set in stone.
••
@Epi @Epi yes understand you absolutely. But a direct alternative to the STOXX that tracks the similar values I just do not find just like EM you can choose small capitals instead if necessary.
••
@willemkly you could say you reduce by 15% the EM and supplement by 15% with the $ZPRV but don't know if then the us side would be too high?
