Most of my recent picks have focused on stability and income, but I also want exposure to tech innovation, especially companies that are profitable, pay dividends, and still have room to grow. Qualcomm stands out as one of the few tech players that check all those boxes.
Their leadership in wireless technologies and semiconductors, especially in 5G and mobile devices, makes them a key enabler of the digital world we live in. At the same time, they’ve been consistently rewarding shareholders with strong dividends and buybacks — which is rare in the high-tech space.
This position adds a solid growth-and-income component to my portfolio, and helps balance my exposure between defensive plays and innovation-driven names.
