CEO Patrick Lowry of Samara Asset Group has commented the following:

"We at @Samara_AG_ have HODL'd for years and are now increasing our #Bitcoin treasury and investing in disruptive tech through top managers and builders

Not sure it's possible, but it'd be a dream to stack as much as @saylor"

So are we getting the first German $MSTR (-1.18%) successor!

What sense would it make for a company to take on debt to buy BTC? Apart from using its own share price to enrich itself?

They should rather finance young start-ups and technologies!

@Epi Ask the Microstrategy shareholders :D
Generating shareholder value...
It's nothing more than taking on debt and buying back shares.

@stefan_21 Exactly. 1. I don't understand Mstr's business model. Any private investor can do the same with BTC futures. 2. why do we need several companies with this business model? No innovation, no competition, nothing.

@Epi yes, you don't have to understand the business model either😂
I think the companies simply see the performance of MSTR and want to mitspielen🤷‍♂️

@stefan_21 I believe that too. However, the added value for potential shareholders is then limited compared to a direct investment in BTC.

Incidentally, I once wondered what would happen if Mstr had its BTC hacked away. 😯

@Epi yes that is of course a risk, no idea what their custody looks like...
I don't invest in Microatrategy either, but buy Bitcoin direkt🤷‍♂️
With MSTR you naturally have an increased risk - and not just in terms of custody. It remains to be seen whether taking on debt to buy Bitcoin will work forever

@Epi I think Michael Saylor personally looks after his life insurance ;-)

Hello, I have just read "The Bitcoin Standard". Would you have any suggestions as to what other "beginner books" I could read on the subject of Bitcoin and crypto. Thank you in advance for your reply!

@Lugga2111_05 Very good :D
Sure, according to the Bitcoin standard, I would most likely recommend the book "Golden Future" by Florian Bruce Boye, which I found really great :)

Then it all depends on what you are interested in, there are different books that are very suitable depending on the subject area.
For example, I can highly recommend "The Trojan Horse of Freedom". It was written by Alex Gladstein, the chairman of the Human Rights Foundation.

Or if you are interested in Austrian economics, "Laws of Economics" by Saifedean Ammous is highly recommended.

But if I were you, I would continue with Goldene Zukunft first :D
