As already mentioned, one of my investment targets is to own 0.1 percent of the chemical mid-cap company $NTG (+0.18%) company. It is not without risk, as the economic situation of chemical companies is still not rosy, especially in Germany.

But I have confidence that the management of $NTG (+0.18%) will set the right course.

And therefore: the position will be further expanded.

Here, too, you're not doing anything wrong in the long term. Exactly such stocks are now on my list! But watchlist here too!

@GordonGekko83 These are the moments when, from today's perspective, I could say that if I were younger again, I would ..... 👨‍🦳
profile image
@Dividendenopi Well, how old are you? I'm not the youngest either, but I'm still interested in such values. Of course you shouldn't put all your money into it, but you can always mix it in.
profile image
@GordonGekko83 I'm 60, so I don't have that many summers left 🤷‍♂️
profile image
@Dividendenopi ok, I'm still younger at 41. At 60, you should keep your distance. How are you invested? All World or on indices?

@GordonGekko83 already seen👍

14.23 was this morning at 9am sharp, then it went down. And at first I thought it was your fault that there was a little bounce upwards at 5.15 pm 🤷‍♂️. Find your commitment great but despite an Upper Palatinate heart in me nothing for me and keep all fingers crossed

@Dividendenopi Yup, the 14.23 was me (around 9.00) - I always buy in direct trade (which is certainly not the smartest strategy). But after being in here for years, I accept the small premium.

Good luck. Hopefully 0.01% of the company will not only be worth 1,000 euros when you reach your goal.
profile image
@Wojtek But I hope so too. Especially because my target is 0.1 percent, not 0.01 percent.

Risky bet. A friend of mine is a university lecturer in chemistry and says that the number of students in Germany is currently plummeting. Nobody wants to study chemistry anymore. Mainly because university math is too demanding for high school graduates.

In the long term, the chemical industry will probably have to say goodbye to Germany.

So I don't see it as a "bet" anyway, but as a long-term investment. We'll see where $NTG is at the end of 2025. I think: 18-20 euros is not out of the question.
profile image
@Charmin 1 year is long-term for you? 😮
profile image
@Epi Did I say that? I merely communicated my expectation for the end of 2025. I will most likely hold $NTG for much longer.

@Charmin "I see it as a long-term investment. We'll see where NTG is at the end of 2025." So the assumption "long-term = 1 year" is obvious, isn't it? 😅

How long do you want to hold?
profile image
@Epi That was meant more as: "Let's see how things have developed in a year's time and then we'll see. I'm expecting growth."

My plan is to own 0.1 percent of the company by the end of 2025 - as written in the article. Who knows, maybe even a whole percent sometime in the next few years, and then ride off into the sunset on the dividends.

That's how convinced I am of the share.

@Charmin Okay, I see massive risks for growth, especially in the long term, due to the lack of young skilled workers. You don't care about that?
profile image
@Epi Not at all. The company trains its own apprentices and has production sites not only in Germany.

Hossa, that's a nice purchase ^^

I am now in with the first tranche after all.
