Dividend versus growth

I've now dumped my Realty Income position on my head in order to increase my $ABBV (+0.31%) position to 10 shares. I expect AbbVie to perform better than the Reit over the next few years.

Sales will probably continue to be driven up mainly by Rinvoq and Skyrizi. I'm slightly biased because I'm a Skyrizi patient myself, but objectively I think it looks good thanks to all the new approvals for other diagnoses.

AbbVie to the Mooon :)

I will soon (have to) do the same as an Austrian, the value is fiscally unacceptable and generally reits and bdcs

@Sand What taxes are added to the dividend in AT?
@FloFinance approx. 55% total tax because it is classified as a non-classifiable fund and annual additional payments depending on what RI reports as turnover. Completely opaque not recommended

@Sand ok that's blatant. I didn't know there was such a heavy tax burden in Austria.

Would not have bought at the ATH, rather waited for a setback.

@Slucks87 perhaps bad timing at the moment. In 5 years' time, I'm sure I'll hardly care that I bought at the ATH today.

@FloFinance certainly not wrong in the long term.

@FloFinance Good attitude

@Slucks87 perhaps add a savings plan. I also think that the value will continue to rise when the drugs in the pipeline hit the market
