Tauron Nowe Technologie ($TPE (-0.48%) ) has obtained PLN 65 million (about EUR 15.3 million) through BGK under the National Recovery Plan (KPO) to modernize and install new street lighting and replace over 55,000 points with energy-efficient LED luminaires.
Tauron Nowe Technologie manages more than 600,000 lighting points across Poland. The long-term target: make all of them energy-efficient by 2035.
This initiative will helps Tauron reduce electricity consumption in its lighting business (which means lower costs and higher profits), while supporting environmental goals !
