Mal eine Frage in die Runde… Ich interessiere mich für die Google (Alphabet Inc.) Aktie, möchte damit allerdings nicht in Rüstung investieren. Da Google (Alphabet) allerdings in der Vergangenheit in das Militärprojekt „Maven“ investiert hat, bin ich in meiner Meinung etwas zwiegespalten. Mich würde daher mal eure Sicht auf die Dinge interessieren. Danke. Bin hier relativ neu, daher sorry wenn das hier der falsche Ort ist.

A question for everyone... I'm interested in Google (Alphabet Inc.) stock, but I don't want to use it to invest in armaments. However, since Google (Alphabet) has invested in the military project "Maven" in the past, I am a bit ambivalent in my opinion. I would therefore be interested in your views on things. Thank you.

Am relatively new here, so sorry if this is the wrong place.

Is a component but the main focus of Alphabet is definitely not in the defense sector 😅 After the approach your portfolio will be very small very fast... Ps: both Nvidia and Intel are working with the military 😶

@SharkAce Well, that may be true (I didn't know that before either, to be honest). However, the core business of Nvidia and Intel is not defense projects. I had only read this in passing on Wikipedia.

Companies of this size are somehow involved almost everywhere. That's why I wouldn't let something like that stop me from investing

This is the right place for it, but most people here will sell their grandmother for a return, so ethical aspects are rather difficult if you want differentiated answers.
