My July Dividend Recap (Net) 📶

The net dividends from my portfolio was only enough to cover half the cost ☝🏽 but it would have taken a huge weight off my shoulders if I hadn’t reinvest .

July is usually a slow month... but I'm curious to see how things will look over the next few decades as dividend growth over the next few decades.

In the coming weeks, there are several earnings from my companies are coming up; after doing some research, I’ll decide which companies will pay the full Q3 dividend . Usually, it’s two companies each >€600

My potential purchases: $CME (+3.5%)
$MCD (+2.72%)
$HD (+4.33%)

(not investment advice—these stocks will drop after I buy them!! 😜)

How much were your July dividends?

I'll be getting just under €840 net in dividends in July—let's see if I'll top up my holdings in $KHC $TPVG or $FSK by around €2k in August…

@teschi Not bad! Is high-yield your focus?

At just over 2k gross, this was also one of the weakest months. 😬

@Dividendenopi I'd appreciate it if you could briefly explain how you got to where you are now. That's quite a sum!

@PoorDad Over the past few years, I’ve sold several properties I’d owned in the past, which provided me with the necessary startup capital; I also received an additional portion through an inheritance. This forms the basis of my capital base, which is invested purely on a cash flow basis. I use that cash flow to cover my living expenses. I follow a high-yield strategy rather than a “buy and hold” approach. I’m too old to wait until dividend payments reach the desired levels. My fixed-coupon certificates provide additional, significant cash flow. I currently have a good 300k invested in stocks. This generates over 26k in gross dividends per year. I therefore have to actively monitor dividend trends and company metrics, and I consistently rebalance my portfolio at the first sign of weakness. Otherwise, I naturally hold on to my positions. You can read a bit more in my “inside” posts. The latest “https://app.getquin.com/de/post/KWEvUXFCav/dividendenopi-inside-dividendenopi-bericht-fur-marz-2026and-Q1-along-with-a-strategy-description is from March; at the turn of the year, I’d written two more posts with deeper insights

@7Trader That's pretty impressive! How long have you been doing this? And how did you get into it, if I may ask?
