Dear Community,

In the last few months, things have been quieter than usual from our side here. The reason: we have been very busy closing a new financing round. 12 million euros - a huge milestone for getquin.


However, I am also aware that the fundraising process has meant that we have been too far away from you at times recently. Too little communication, too little insight into product development, too little presence here in the community.


That is now changing again.


Our full attention is going back to you, our users. You have made it possible for us to be where we are today.

The next steps are clear: we will focus even more on the features that you came to getquin for and that help you build your wealth every day.


Our focus is particularly on the core of the platform:

- Aggregation

- analysis

- data quality


We will be deploying significantly more resources in these areas in future.


We will also expand our communication around product development. In concrete terms, this means

- Monthly product updates

- More direct updates from me here in the community

- Q&A sessions via webinar


We have also been working for some time on solutions to help you build your wealth even more proactively. We'll be sharing more about this with you in the coming weeks.


For now, I would just like to say thank you - for your support, some of which has lasted for years, and your open feedback, which helps us to continuously develop getquin.


We look forward to the next few years with you!

For most people here, a key factor in using the platform is this great community. It would be nice if you could use some of your resources to improve it.
For example, when posting longer POTS, especially with attached transactions, large parts of the written text still disappear. Sometimes they are not loaded at all.

First of all, thank you very much for removing my comment. The needs were probably very urgent. That shows how much you want to focus on the community 😉 and how transparent you are.
May I ask what the main reason was for removing my comment?
I merely pointed out the problems of the last few months that you have looked the other way on. No more and no less.

It doesn't matter what Christian or other company accounts from getquin post about functions, further developments and things, you always bombard the comments with criticism of community problems.

People violate community guidelines, complain and then try to drag people to other chat platforms instead of simply behaving better here and improving the platform through their own actions.


If they didn't want the community feature, they would just turn it off. 🤷🏻‍♀️
It is not necessary for the Depottracker.

Apart from that, would it do any good if they spoke out? No, it wouldn't. There would still be grumbling about how things are handled.

I don't know if any of you have moderated or administered large social media groups, I've done it and it's a damn thankless job. No matter how hard or soft you go, no matter how you set rules and enforce them, someone always cries and feels unfairly treated.

The way I've seen you and the others crying here for years, I wonder why you're still here at all if it's supposedly so shitty and you feel you're being treated unfairly.

If you think you're so important to the community, then just leave in silence and be done with it. Like grown-up people.
Instead of crying everywhere about how badly you feel you've been treated.
People either miss you or they don't.
That's just childish, how old are you? 14?
Over the years, others have also left (in silence), and? The community still exists, content and the feed still exist. Is that why getquin is broke? No.

getquin will not beg you to stay or force you to.

There are plenty of other forums where you can participate and if you don't like it there either, you can whine there too if you don't get your belly brushed.
This negativity of whining everywhere you can is just annoying and is also a typical internet mentality.

Mimimi the feed, mimimi the community, mimimi whä whä whä, mommy mommy.

I'll be so glad when I can finally deactivate the feed on the web and no longer have to see these whiners.

@wealth_builder_Nr10 You see, that's how different everyone sees it. I even pay the premium fee to support GQ, although I'm only really interested in the community. I've benefited so much from that alone that I've paid the fees for the next 10 years. I don't need Wealth, no Ki analysis, no dividend overview or preview. But I think, just as you and others would like to see improvements in areas that interest them more, I think that you can also point out grievances (when creating posts, entire texts disappear when posting) that occur in the community. Everyone wants to get the most out of their contribution. This has nothing to do with constant nagging. I also received an immediate response to my post with a thank you for the feedback. So everything is fine.

You know what would be cool?

- Being able to put 2 of your own portofolios ontop of each other
- A way for a cash balance to automatically update after you buy/sell something so u dont have to manually add it and the graph than also looks weird (suddenly drops and raises instantly)

Hello,
​I wanted to share some quick feedback about the Italian version of the app (desktop and mobile).
​Currently, some of the translations in the various menus look a bit unnatural or incorrect. It’s nothing breaking, but polishing the Italian localization would really improve the overall user experience here.
​Hopefully, your team can take a look at it for future updates!

@stock_virtuoso_3079 A lot of big fish get this wrong, and it's a good point. I've done German localizations for about two years as a side gig and you would be surprised how little even billionaire companies care and pay for them. Hope they get this right by hiring one or two Italians...

For me, a functioning upload of my accounts and the correct overview of all transactions is very important, without spending extra hours on it. Unfortunately, this has not been possible up to now. I would like to see a reliable solution here.

Congratulations! Perhaps you will also manage to revise the displayed prices. If I am in DE and my values are displayed in euros, why are analysts' price targets displayed in the app in dollars and not in euros.....?

@mco Please send feature requests and bugs to customer service via email as normal. Everything is evaluated automatically and then prioritized internally.
