Following on from my next stock introduction (what could that possibly be 🤓😱), I want to tell you about the Japanese stock market.

While other industrialized nations are hotly debating inflation (temporary vs. long-term) and thus thinking aloud about interest rate hikes and the reduction of bond purchases, the Japanese central bank can sit back in this regard. Thus, rising policy rates and/or reducing bond purchases pose no threat to investors. Both are bullish for the Japanese stock market. Analysts also do not expect any significant inflation in the near future (unlike in the U.S. or Europe).

The Nikkei 225 had to endure a long dry spell from 1990 to 2010. It has still not reached its peak of 1989.

So why not add a little Japan to your portfolio? Japan is very industry-heavy with companies that have a very long history. I am already invested (wikifolio and private portfolio) and will introduce you to a company soon.

@Fresh-Environment-01 Sure, but don't find their strategy that intoxicating.

@Fresh-Environment-01 it is also not about investing in the broad Japanese economy but in selected companies that benefit from market conditions in Japan but operate globally. And my future idea has mostly outperformed my own Nikkei.
