Next week on March 27, Kontron will release figures⚡

$KTN (+1.18%) Kontron has performed well due to the recent large number of good orders. The share price has clearly broken out of the volume weighted average price channel that has been in place since August 2018. From a technical perspective, both oscillators (momentum, MACD) and indicators (SMA and EMA) point to "buy" or "strong buy". However, figures often bring completely different reactions.

I reduced my position by 1/3 yesterday and took profits. Kontron is currently up a good +50% for me. I still hold 400 shares, but they are rather tightly hedged. I expect quite good figures, but you can never tell how they will be received by the market.

I'm either happy that I sold at least 1/3 or I don't regret having held the whole position. You always know better afterwards, let's see what happens... 😂

The analysts' estimates are mostly above the current level and go up to €37, but the analysts' opinions are often the last support for their own theses, according to the motto - if you don't know what to do yourself🤪

Who of you has $KTN (+1.18%) in the portfolio? What is your assessment?

Edit: added the YTD 4 hour chart with the price areas with liquidity for the short term view - white lines. These areas could be approached again.

I also have it in my portfolio. I have decided to hold it for the longer term, as it looks relatively good in terms of orders and they are also benefiting from the infrastructure billions. I think that things will go up in the longer term. even the best figures are currently leading to sell-offs, so I would buy it.

What will...😅
Have KTR in my portfolio thanks to you and think that the last orders were also good to bring the company more into the spotlight. Figures should also fit, trust more that it will continue to go up in the long term. But don't ask me, I'm already sitting out quite a bit... 🫣

@Goldmarie I am pleased that you have been inspired to make a good purchase; Kontron is certainly well positioned in the long term. In between, there are "ups" and "downs" that you have to endure. But it's the same for everyone, at least for me😂
If I believe in the company, then I'm prepared to sit things out, if I no longer believe in it at all, then I'd rather realize losses and invest in something else, and then I also get something back from the tax.

I am also in, but leveraged and up 130% so far. I think the upward trend will continue. We have a new ATH and if the figures are good and, above all, the outlook is good, we will head towards €30. That is my target price for the share.
