First Hims sale to take out risk! 💪

After$HIMS (-3.47%) recently published mediocre figures and the share accounted for over 60% of my portfolio, I took advantage of the market strength in early trading today. At a price of €50.40, I reduced my position by 60% to secure profits.

Although I still hold 1000 shares and believe in the company for the long term, it is sensible to cash out after a gain of over 600% in just three years. This also gives me the opportunity to invest in other promising stocks on my watchlist.

The remaining position will remain an important part of my portfolio for a long time to come, as I still consider $HIMS (-3.47%) still see it as one of my best long-term investments.

Yes, the tax is extremely painful, but with this decision I can now sleep more relaxed again.

What stocks are you currently looking at and where would you currently invest your money? And no $NOVO B (-0.26%) or $UNH (+2.51%) does not come into my house 🤣

Greetings, Bubu

Let's see when the first saying comes: "If only you'd waited until 3:30 p.m."😉

But congratulations on your return 👍🏻💥🗡️

@He-Man Thank you very much!

Limit sell order was triggered at 15:43 😉 Unfortunately 15 minutes too early 🤣

@Bubu_98 That's how it always works😅

@Bubu_98 That's also the common thing. You can't catch the optimal time to buy or sell....

@Horstiiii Yes, the main thing is to have made money and not be annoyed 👍

@Bubu_98 Oh yes, you did. It's amazing what a gain. You probably have to work a long time for that... 🙈🫠 If you think about it, most people have to work for one to two years to have that net in their pocket...

@Spadan22 I'm still on board with a good 50K, but due to $HIMS and the oversized weighting, I probably wouldn't have any hair left in 5 years 🤣

@Bubu_98 Are you critical of the future or do you mean the volatility

Great win!🤌🏻

ouch - the fee really hurts

@Depot_7777 yes, at some point you have to sell ....
profile image
@Bubu_98 always hurts to see, but that only means you have made a good profit and I prefer that to a loss.
So better this way than otherwise

@ddoc Yes, that's true, but that was also one of the reasons why I held on for so long in the first place. I think without the tax, you'd be moving a lot more back and forth.

@Leipziger_Jung if amd slips even further, part of it will go straight in there 👍

Thank you for your continued success with Hims. I'm still on board with 1000 pieces 💪 just wanted to take the risk out of it.

@Bubu_98 I'm also in AMD right now. They are expecting an acceleration in the second half of the year and the share is down after earnings. So quite a good setup.

@flowriii absolutely... Germany 🇩🇪

@flowriii The only positive thing about it ... you don't sell so quickly. Probably also a reason why I held on for so long.

Your sale is not displayed correctly, it says €39.10 as the sale price...?

One question... I had to pay solidarity tax on the trade... 900€. Do I get that back on my tax return or is it gone 🤔😢
