Milestone EUR 300k!

Dear Community,

even if a bit late, I would like to share my €300k portfolio milestone with you!

My approach (28 years old, Quality-Growth Tech)

I pursue a buy-and-hold strategy with a focus on companies that have the potential to become real "compound machines". In doing so, I concentrate on:

Selection criteria:

  • Strong competitive advantages ("economic moats")
  • High and expanding margins (gross, EBITDA, EBIT & FCF)
  • Rising returns on capital over various economic cycles
  • Low debt
  • Sustainable growth potential

Sector allocation: My portfolio is mainly focused on IT, semiconductors and financial services - sectors that I believe will continue to shape the economy in the future.

Core positions (>50% of the portfolio):
$NVDA (+0.44%) | $GOOGL (+1.45%) | $META (+0.05%) | $AMZN (+0.34%) | $MSFT (+2.09%) | $AVGO (+0.23%) The deliberate overweighting of the tech sector reflects my conviction that information technology remains the key growth driver.

New development: In addition, I have recently taken advantage of the high market volatility for short-term swing trades, which sometimes give me more and sometimes less return

Roast my approach! 😄

Where do you see weaknesses? What would you do differently?

Huhu, I think it's great! Keep up the good work!
I would definitely expand Bitcoin if I were you 😁

@MrSchnitzel Thank you very much! Is it planned to gradually increase the crypto weighting to 20%?

Congratz. I see a bit of myself on this portfolio. I would increase a bit the share of the healthcare (some good oportunities on the downside) and enter on the energy sector (renewable mostly). And all the crypto share on bitcoin only.

@Ultimate_Accumulator thanks for your thoughts! Also eying on couple of Healthcare Players. Especially $SYK $UNH $IDXX caught my interest!

@BVLGARI $I1SR34 Intuitive Surgical could be also an interesting option.

@Ultimate_Accumulator yes I got them on my watch list and I really like their business model! I do see a huge potential for the firm in the future
Congratulations and very good - very similar to mine, only the order of magnitude is slightly different 😂 Maybe expand crypto, I think you could save the 1 ETF with the amount - investing in tech again in parallel also hurts in the event of a downturn.
And I would also slowly get into space, at least 1 share.

Max

@MaxtheCat Hello back from Vienna ;) Background to the ETF: I started a savings plan last month. It serves as my MSCI World! Again, I am convinced that InfoTech will not lose an inch of its relevance in the future. In fact, it will be the defining sector of the next few decades! I have no idea who will be ahead, but I'm completely on board with this development :)

Congratulations, strong portfolio. I think I'll manage to crack the 300k mark this year too 👌💪🏽 I would definitely increase $BTC

@CashPilot Keep your fingers crossed that you will reach this mark this year :)

Congratulations! I would actually only change one thing, and that is $BTC increase/save, however :)

@Aktienorang-Utan When it comes to cryptos, I am looking at the ISO20022 approved coins. I also find the "Crypto Strategic Reserve" coins unofficially communicated by the US government exciting. Why would you overweight Bitcoin?

@BVLGARI Bitcoin is already more than established and will prevail in the end due to its decentralized nature. I believe that only Bitcoin will prevail in the next 10 years.

Respect, it's clear that you're putting a lot of capital into the portfolio. Soon the snowball will start rolling in terms of returns! 🙏

@edwardmorra Thank you very much! As you have correctly seen, some capital is flowing into the portfolio! I am also very satisfied with the return so far. But you have to look at the TTWROR. Since the start of tracking here in GQ it has been 24.5% p.a.. I am more than happy with that and hope to be able to keep this p.a. return above 16% p.a. as well.
1
profile image
@BVLGARI that will come in time 🙏 The TTWROR is more of a "what if" figure and therefore, in my opinion, only of limited relevance.

Congratulations, keep up the good work. I still have a long way to go to get there 😉

Beautiful portfolio, and great timing of the market (if the investment start date shown on the profile is correct)! Good luck!

@gargi The "Investment start" as shown in my profile is actually the time I switched to my current broker! I have been invested since late 2018! However, due to some technical problems with a portfolio transfer from one broker to another in 2022, the tracking only dates back to 01/17/2022

Very cool success, congratulations! But unfortunately it also contains the standard values that every other portfolio here also has...

@BisInDieLetzteFussnote thank you! These companies did not end up in my portfolio by chance ;) Feel free to name me other companies with similar operational and financial strength that are outside the mainstream :)

@BVLGARI Protector Forsikring, Interactive Brokers, Legrand, Zaptec, Cadeler, Sanlorenzo.... I think the difference is that you invest in the obviously good companies of the moment and I tend to try to find previously undiscovered gems outside the mainstream. The problem I would have with that is that everyone else is in there right now. Where is the imagination for the future? It can go on like this for a few more years, but will you make it out in time when NVIDIA becomes Intel?

I think, your Portfolio is a really good but I would diversify in countries (too much US stocks) and other areas. :)

@NoOneElse thank you! The US market despite all the recent doubts is still the most important and liberal globally! My picks do their business globally, so I don’t mind a US weight of >90% in my portfolio.

Great presentation and great portfolio. I like it very much. The only thing to complain about (if at all) is the ETF World Information Tech. You have the largest positions in the ETF as individual positions. Far more than 50 percent.

What are your latest purchases? Or how are you behaving in the current market?
