12.7% increase in regular quarterly dividend

18 years in a row

CAGR 10Y at 12.4%

(CAGR at getquin is unfortunately not correct because the special dividends are apparently included here)

Remains my favorite among the insurance companies 🤓

$AFG (-0.39%)

Doesn't the special dividend possibly create a false/blurred expectation or is it just me? Somehow I am perhaps too much of a "Monk" and it bothers me that it is not calculable enough.

@Kohlmeyse some will certainly be lured by this yes. this also distorts the data at getquin, such as CAGR and payout ratio That's why I only look at the regular dividend, At a price of $105, to pay out $2.75 a year I think is healthy and far removed from high yield. the special dividends really only come when there is a profit surplus
