I hardly ever used a lever. You can run out of options over time if things don't go the way you thought they would.

The advantage is that you can trade derivatives in both directions. And with shares alone, it is very difficult to achieve a continuous increase in value of at least 45%
p.a
. if you have relatively little capital to invest.
