Senior civil servant - some of my colleagues have little to do with investing. I actually wanted to become a bank clerk, but my applications were ignored. 😅
Nevertheless, my interest in finance is unbroken and that's how I got into investing.
So I don't see any advantage over others.
As a civil servant, you're safe from "getting poor", but you're also safe from "getting rich". 😁
