The ups and downs continue

After the share price $NOVO B (-2.9%) fell by another 13% this morning, the dividend is now already around 4.5% p.a..

So the stock is slowly becoming interesting for dividend investors as well. I still think the P/E ratio of around 13 is fair.

The savings plan will probably be increased again, or as it is called in the ups and downs:

Let's go for the next round! Be there again, be free again, we're about to go backwards 🗣️🗣️🗣️

@jkb92 I also thought about whether I'd rather put it in brackets 😂

The peak (ATH 2024) was too high, just as the sell-off is now too low.

@CaYaRo I agree with you :)
I actually only got in after the mountain when we were at around €40.

Dividend cut is probably the next thing to come... 😂

@Marcelo-80 Because this has happened so often with Novo Nordisk in the past...
The share price is simply normalizing because the market no longer expects growth to be as high as 1-2 years ago. But that doesn't mean that the dividend isn't safe ;)

@Marcelo-80 They will (have to) avoid this at all costs. The operating cash flow also allows for this.

@Dividendenopi i agree. they can "afford" a dividend cut less than stable or rising dividends. this is simply difficult to communicate with investors, especially those who rely on the stability of the dividend. in denmark, this is a popular share like volkswagen, for example. explain that to the danish pensioners who wanted to supplement their pensions with the obesity of the americans.

@ynnxs I had to laugh :D especially at the part with the poor Danish pensioners KEKW

Keep investing in the fuck shack.........is a unique opportunity to burn extra cash!

@Crash-Propheteus What makes you think that you are burning your money with Novo Nordisk :)

@ynnxs I just thought of this and wanted to comment on it. But I really have no idea. So "no" investment advice!

@Crash-Propheteus oh well, of course that works too 😂👍🏻

We are now back at the November low. Now is an exciting time to trade. Either it holds there again, in which case it will quickly go up to €40, or we will fall below that level, in which case we will quickly be below €30.

@Multibagger i agree. the share is simply very volatile 🙈

@Crash-Propheteus fantastic price 😁

@Crash-Propheteus then short would be the right option. I am actually considering opening both scenarios with very tight SLs. The risk is of course that we first run in one direction and then turn quickly. Then both positions are quickly stopped out.

@Multibagger Difficult, I don't have a real tendency.....but I would still believe that it is still heading south. I'm also very sure that a dividend cut is coming soon. Then we will definitely see the South Pole.

We are back in (after exiting at €54) with 30 shares at €36. 4.5% personal dividend tastes good. I leave out the savings plan.

@Finanzaristokrat this is how it should ideally work yes 🙈

@ynnxs well. I didn't want to make the "mistake" again when it went from 36 to 50. That's why I sold. Nobody could have guessed that they would fall so low again.
profile image
@Finanzaristokrat i had at least paused my savings rate while the price was at 50 because selling is simply not worth it given the size of the position 😅

I was only successful once with Novo: with a short trade. The share really cost me a lot of nerves .... The successful short atoned for the nervous strain..... I won't be touching the share again. I agree with Chris here, everything has been said.... Lg and good luck 🍀
