Exciting topic, bookmarked & thanks for that. @ccf My parents have a house, 2 cottages and real estate. I have bought and rented a couple of properties 50/50 with my brother since 2021. But we still live with parents 🤭 Fortunately with us it is not yet an issue if and when we move out 😅

@TheDividendCollector strong, live at home but already own / rent real estate. Mega. May I ask how you managed that? Are you 50 and still living at home, smart investments, support from family, very well-paid job, or just full financing and parents' guarantee, ...?
I would also have to look into renting again. Due to the tax issues and the usually somewhat different financing, this is another topic in itself. You often hear from people who are also interested in buying for their own use that 'it must somehow pay off for the landlord if he buys'. However, tax and financing are often ignored.
