Why the 120 euros at Palantir?

$PLTR (-3.33%) why the big sell-off at 120? I mean, why not at 50, 75, 100 whatever!? Anyone have any useful ideas?

Remember one thing. The decisive factor is the dollar price. The euro doesn't matter at all. Because Palantir is traded in the USA

@Sansebastian Remember one thing: the question is still justified. Your comment is of little relevance.

@useref748d772fc84f3e No, because the 120 EURO don't matter at all.

Let me ask you how many of you are addicted to drugs
@Sansebastian ki 🤖 is not aware of himself 🤣

Because the valuation was absolutely absurd, and people decided to limit their risk and cash out.

@TAHT i know, but the evaluation was already absurd before..
The trigger was probably defense spending to be cut in the USA

@Frei 🤔 You're right, I hadn't thought of that. Possibly... I had something more like Fibonacci retracements in mind
profile image
@Frei shouldn't the expenditure rather be partly "redirected"? in the direction of "specialization"? and palantir&co still has massive potential there - plus worldwide projects

Yes, the Pentagon should reallocate money, i.e. cut somewhere and use it elsewhere

The boss wants to sell shares

@Mike1990 I cannot disagree

@Mike1990 yes, but he has actually corrected the sales plan so that he wants to sell less...
1
@Alexxela yes, but he wants to sell, and the share has also performed very well
profile image
@Mike1990 may be, but this is not news, as he already wanted to sell and was reported... the reason was in my opinion the Pentagon story and possibly short-seller in view of the valuation and the price increase in 2024 alone

120>100>75>50 😘
Maximum profit taking and fear of a big drop

@V8-Bierturbo sounds logical 👏😂

had only corrected 25% at the beginning of January

@Lumimyrsky You're right, but I'm interested in how this magic limit of 120 comes about
profile image
@Nobody_123 pure coincidence
Because the Us Gov. revised its plans … those plans that would have seen a lot of money going towards palantir.

Because the monthly chart is practically a vertical line.
Everything corrects at some point.
2
@BigMo That's right, I'm just wondering why at this point in particular
profile image
@Nobody_123 It is enough if a larger investor, like many others here, thinks: "I'll take some profits".

There doesn't necessarily have to be another reason.

There has been a lot of fantasy in the share price for some time.
1
@BigMo 🤔 maybe you're right... and it wasn't the amount at all, but a concatenation

The Pentagon is planning budget cuts at the US Department of Defense, which is why the share price is currently correcting downwards.
