MATT monthly review April 2026

After the emerging markets were switched out last month due to the sharp slump, they are now back in. This means that the allocation from February has been reached again. This month, the only comparison product that performed well was the single stock momentum of @Krush82 worked well.

Equities have fallen sharply, which has only partially benefited MATT (or other GTAA strategies).

The very politically driven kangaroo markets continue to pose a challenge for MATT. Nevertheless, a small increase in value was achieved.

Gold and the energy index have undergone consolidation. MATT remains largely defensively positioned.

One positive aspect is MATT's very low volatility this month.

In addition, the MATT wikifolio became investable a few days ago.
