A change at the top at Novo was overdue. The current CEO is a miserable salesman and far too lax in his dealings with Eli Lilly. The Americans cheat wherever they can and market their Zepound as the best product on the market.
Novo Nordisk is by far the market leader, they have a much better pipeline, the study results of new candidates are better than the unadorned ones from Lilly. Eli Lilly, for example, commissions studies whose results are celebrated like the holy grail. Independent study results are only available to a limited extent.
Novo needs a new CEO who can present its own advantages clearly and simply and take a different approach to the competition. Then a sharp rise in the share price is only a matter of time.

@Here1667 I see it the same way. For me, a change of CEO at a weakening company is more of a good sign than a bad one.
If we were now a week away from the Annual General Meeting or financial release, I would say that something is wrong with the figures. But now that they have been presented recently, a head is rolling because the previous CEO has missed out on potential.
