Gold mines—but which ones?

Hello everyone, I’d like to add a gold mine to my portfolio but I’m not sure which one. Why a mine and not gold itself, etc.? Because I see more potential in mines given the long-term rise in the price of gold.

Senior or junior gold mines—obviously, juniors offer more growth potential but also come with more risks.

This would be a long-term investment. My question is: who would you bet on—the heavyweights:

If you still believe gold will rise, investing in a gold mine is a good strategy. To me, a good gold mine is a money-making machine—after all, gold mines are currently selling gold at prices that are sometimes more than four times its cost. You’re looking at margins of 50% and higher. And as the price of gold rises, those margins will continue to climb. In the short term, rising investment returns could put downward pressure on the gold price once again. In the long term, however, I personally expect gold to keep rising—and with it, gold mines. Perhaps you could also look for a gold mine that allows you to trade other commodities as well.

@Tenbagger-Capital Yeah, that's why I'd rather go with mines than gold, etc. Do you have any suggestions for mines with a wider spread?

It's precisely because of the election in Brazil that I find Aura Minerals exciting—it has gold and copper. Personally, I'm invested in gold through K92 and Alkane. With Alkane, you have gold, but also antimony and copper in the development phase.
