adidas with a strong year 2025.

$ADS (-0.3%) with record sales of € 24.8 billion (+13% adjusted for currency effects), gross margin at 51.6%, operating result +54% to € 2.06 billion. Profit almost +70%. Growth came from all markets and channels - Running and DTC particularly strong.

Dividend proposal +40% to € 2.80 and an additional share buyback of up to € 1 bn.

I built up an initial position yesterday and will buy more today after the share price has fallen by around 5%. For me, the operating momentum remains intact.

-8% crazy... In the meantime, it doesn't matter what a company's earnings say, just always go short and you make a profit 😅

@RealArnoDuebel I think so too. Figures were better than expected, guidance not bad either. But if you look at sporting goods manufacturers in general. They were all relatively f****. Puma in particular, but their figures aren't right either. They're simply trading where they were 20 years ago xDD

I'm taking a look at $PUM Puma now, almost 50% drop in sales is shown on TradingView, crazy. YoY at Q4

I have my eye on Adidas for KnockOut Long with target soccer world cup - should one of the Adidas teams make a long run I see upside potential there

I would wait until € 164 to enter the market so that the downward trend is neutralized

@Sansebastian But you're too late xD. We just came from there.

@CashflowKultur No, I mean it the way I write it. You are now buying completely into the downward trend. And you don't know how much further the share will fall.

@Sansebastian I certainly don't buy a share because of a trend. I buy a share because I like its fundamentals & wanted to take the earnings with me. It worked out well. But it could just as easily have gone up again.

@CashflowKultur all clear 😂
Increased, discount overdrawn. See you at the AGM...they always make it very inviting!!!

@Sand Unfortunately, I've never been to one. How do you get there? Never dealt with it before.

@CashflowKultur Normally you will receive an invitation via the broker or, to be on the safe side, ask Adidas Investor Relations directly. It always takes place in the Stadthalle Fürth with food and drink and speeches by the board members, you can also ask questions etc. Recommended to get a better feel for the company you are investing in. Which state are you from?

@Sand I come from Austria, unfortunately further away for me. Specifically from Vienna.
