Margin call 🫣✌🏼

Edit:

I'll add to my post as many have asked.

-I set up the deposit credit to have capital available for short trades without having to sell other shares. I generally only use it for short periods.

-You have to earn interest + the tax on top if you pay 7% interest and have 7% profit, I pay capital tax on top.

-My securities account, which currently consists of Nvidia, Stallantis, hims and small individual positions, serves as collateral for the bank.

-With the deposit credit I have call options for $8TRA (-1.07%) and a smaller part call $NVDA (-1.87%) bought. Half of the options have already been sold, so I have some breathing space again

-I have not yet received a classic margin call, but I have seen it legendarily in the overview. The credit line was overdrawn because Nvidia lost some of its value yesterday evening.

-The gamble paid off, but it was insane 🫣

-Knok-out-NVIDIA I own for now until the B-100 comes out or the 1000$ are reached.

-Traon calls will go out in full tomorrow and are up 200% thanks to the positive quarterly figures 🤝

-How I came up with it, I just copied what happened at Daimler Truck this Friday, little joke, I've been keeping a close eye on the share since I bought it ek 15.xx

.... I recommend that you significantly reduce your positions immediately. You are on the sure path to ruin. With your exposure, you are one of the shaky hands that will be flushed out of the market in the next correction.

Am I right, you have almost 40k as a credit line and even slightly overdrawn??? 😱😱😱
Dude, what happens if the prices drop now? Does TR sell everything and you still have to pay the rest because there's not enough cover???

@AlterMann think SC sells everything 😂

@cashwithhead Yes, maybe there are still a few euros left over for a car wash in the self-service box...

@AlterMann Exactly like this. (But it is Scalable)

@AlterMann I put about 15k in derivatives call Traton on Friday, but you can't use them as collateral. Since only stocks, EFT, funds and bonds serve as collateral.

Since my security currently consists largely of Nividia and these are falling a little today, my Magrin is falling and is overdrawn.

I use the deposit credit at @scalable at @traderepublic unfortunately the functions are not available, which is why I had to sell my Rolls Royce and 1k taxes were deducted to buy Call Traton bills. 👎

@BMWM1 I couldn't sleep peacefully for a minute.
If this works: Congratulations. But I'm out of there

@AlterMann ditto! More risk is not possible! If only one thing goes in the wrong direction, cheers!

@AlterMann then the BMW M1 will have to do :)

@AlterMann sleep is overrated 😂

@BMWM1 I'm always tired, except when I'm sleeping. Then I'm fine... 😂

As a white stockbroker once said: "Only take risks with the money that belongs to you. Because it will take time to recoup the loss."
profile image
@ScreamFD there's something to it...
profile image
It doesn't matter at all. I'm not going to use them anyway.
profile image
But what's the point? You first have to recoup the almost 7% interest. This is where most custody accounts fail.

Something like this works well in the bear market.... As soon as it goes down RIP 🙏 and currently it looks like it

Just out of interest, have you made a plan of what you want to run, when, how and with what you manage your risk and calculated how much interest you have to pay, or have you simply drawn on this credit line without giving it much thought?

@Nico12345 half will be repaid tomorrow, only used it because of the call option.

Yes, I have a credit line that is only used in the short term. And offsetting is essential ✌🏼
