Sale of total stock Apple

With the departure of an important AI manager from $AAPL (-0.79%) to $META (+1.42%) I have decided to sell my Apple shares. Apple has been trying to get a foot in the door with AI for months ... but it doesn't look too rosy.

If you believe high-ranking Apple employees, this prominent departure of Ruoming Pang could set off a chain reaction. Numerous AI engineers have already announced their intention to leave the company. Meta and Co. will be pleased.

Zuckerberg in particular is opening his wallet wide to recruit AI experts. Will this be successful? We will find out!

I myself have been using Apple products for years and am also very satisfied, but AI will be a mega topic in the coming years, and there are other companies that are far better positioned.

That's why I wouldn't sell.
Apple is not big in the AI game, so what? Nobody makes money with AI except the companies that supply the chips.

Meta may end up being the dumb ones. What if the AI market is so competitive that the research costs can no longer be recouped?

Someone will make money from it at some point, but I'm not so sure it will be the big players of today.

To me, it all looks like a race to the bottom.

@TotallyLost We will experience it. Nevertheless, Apple's innovative strength has somehow been lost. No more big announcements, fewer iPhones... China and Mr. Trump are also putting a lot of pressure on $AAPL... Let's wait and see how everything develops.

@Epi wouldn't Apple actually be a buy candidate given the news? I am convinced of the company and not everyone has to be able to create Ki but use it sensibly

I have also reduced the position by 35% (1/3). But don't think they are history and there will be no further growth in the coming years. Even if they arrive late in the AI party, they will still be able to collect a lot of money.
