I hate the Austrian withholding tax on dividends, so AT only in ETF.

@Winston_Smith Yes, it's high, which is why I'm happy to live in Austria😅

@Aktien_kev It's not that bad for the Piefkes. If I apply for a refund, then I have no disadvantage compared to D. Well, again additional effort, but it is absolutely within reason
@Dividendenopi thanks, yes it may be that with some experience it's easy, I only had that once, 2023, also with OMV, have no refund to date, probably won't get one because I did something wrong, and the German tax office gave me hell after requesting the certificate of residence, I had money abroad and I should submit complete KAP etc., which I don't want, because I do very well with 25% plus Soli and like to save the KAP. It was a bad experience, but I'm more of an ETF investor anyway and otherwise almost only German and American shares, where none of this is a problem. Once you have a bit more practice, it's no longer a problem, as with everything. But you have to want to.

@Dividendenopi I see it the same way you get it 100% faster than if you want the withholding tax back from Petrobas or an Italian share

@Aktien_kev So far I haven't had to pay any withholding tax at Petrobras 🤷‍♂️😉

Since I have no experience with mergers in terms of shares, I don't dare to think about omv. The merger will come and then?

Does anyone have any experience of what happens to shares then?
@Aktien_kev petrobras ? Doesn't cost anything or ? Brazil !

@Coyote980 I personally thought that Brazil has 15% withholding tax

@OneInAMinion Which fusion do you mean?
@Aktien_kev I hope not 🤣... I've read it 100 times. I'm pretty sure about that. 😅
