Nice portfolio :) dart I ask why you have the Zukunftsplan 1 in your portfolio? It is extremely expensive at 1.75% and the performance is also very poor 🙈 90% in 10 years. The Msci World has 156%
@Snopy you can. I took out the Riester contract years ago at the beginning of my training (I work for a savings bank) and save €2100 a year, which I then deduct from my tax bill (the contract is no longer being spent). Of course, I have to pay tax on it all when I retire, but that only makes up a small part of my assets.

The return is of course lower than the MSCI World, but there is a performance promise that at least the paid-in balance + allowances will be repaid on retirement. Example: During the high volatility phase a few weeks ago, they shifted the fund assets from the stock market into fixed-interest investments and then back again after the recovery.

I am just a fan of broad diversification, e.g. I have also invested approx. 18% of my assets in precious metals (approx. +78% since purchase). I also have EUR 25 thousand in call money at 3%. I keep this for possible buy-the-dip in an emergency.

I don't have to put everything into an ETF. I'm building up my dividend shares via monthly savings plans with the aim of generating a good extra monthly income at some point.

Of course, I always dream of being able to live off dividends, but I'm quite happy with my current situation as a simple saver and soon-to-be family man 😀
