S&P 500 worth buying today?

Hello everyone,

My ETF of the $VUSA (+0.74%) is slightly lower again today.

I would now like to buy another 5 - 10 shares. The order fees would be €0.99.

However, I am afraid that this is not so clever, as today is a public holiday. What do you think?

If (as I hope) you are investing for the long term, then the holiday in the USA will play a subordinate role. In a few years it will hardly be visible in the chart, even if it goes down a few percentage points tomorrow. Don't try to find the "perfect" entry point

Time in the market beats timing the market.

As @Volkaracho says: as long as you stay invested for the long term, your cost prices don't matter.

I've already thought about buying something today. But I'm waiting until the USA attacks Iran, then it will go down again in the short term. So I'll wait until Monday.
So now I'll put the crystal ball 🔮 away again 😅

Part of this is ex-dividend. Therefore not quite so bad.
