@WarrenamBuffet is also sufficient. Dividend crediting is just like debiting/crediting purchases/sales +2-3 days. You can actually count yourself lucky with all the brokers who credit the dividend on the payment date and do not work with the money themselves. Unfortunately, this is still the usual practice.
