Hello, in the long term I would like to add a new share with 1k for every 10k in my portfolio. I have a few in mind and have been waiting for a strong setback to open the first position.

(21, 1500€ savings rate, very long-term horizon).

Since I only own accumulating ETFs, as I would reinvest dividends anyway and plan for the long term, I have struggled with some of them. I find shares with a dividend of over 5% difficult for the very long term. Unless of course there is a lot of upside potential.

But I would find the *current* situation interesting:

$ASML (+5.17%) ASML

$NU (-0.52%) NU Holdings

$RSG (-0.29%) Republic Services

$GOOGL (+1.51%) Alphabet

$MSFT (+1.46%) Microsoft

$ABNB (+5.95%) Airbnb

For me, an Airbnb and a Nu holdings would be directly out, as there is no upward trend to be seen here and, above all, as a mix with an etf, this is a must for me.

I would also drop a dbs holding, as the return does not fit here, you will probably outperform with an etf.

With republic service, please pay attention to the debt, which is a nice thing in terms of returns.

An Alphabet is of course a nice value, but is outperformed by a Microsoft.

To cut a long story short, Asml is the most exciting of the stocks you have presented, followed by Microsoft.

I don't have a positive opinion of any of the others, but if you are aware of the risk, you can go for it.

I have now cracked the 12k with pretty pure ETF's and would like to add a few growth stocks with a small amount in addition to the 4 ETF's. Maybe 3 with a 50 euro savings plan per month.


The ETFs are all accumulating and the goal is of course very long-term, i.e. growth stocks with which the tax-free amount could be utilized.


I find this interesting :

Another option would of course be to invest 150€ in a $GGRP (+0.72%) or $FGEQ (+1.09%) or $TDIV (+0.93%)

But these are just a few ideas. What do you think?

Go for the stocks.
Even if you get less return you still get experience, which is way more valuable on the early stages of the journey. 🙂

My Portfolio so far, been investing for 1,5 years now.

Planning to change into Dividend investing as soon at the total value, hits around the 350-400k mark.


what are your thoughts on this?

Thinking about adding $NU (-0.52%) and $ASML (+5.17%)

i do really think that $UPST (+4.27%) is going to skyrocket the next 2-3 years, and next bump up, being the cut coming next month.

I will buy Nu again as soon as I have a correction. Excellent company.

I live in Mexico and have been a customer for a year and five months. It definitely speeds up the process to get a card and have profitability in your savings account.
