Porsche Stock in 2026: China Crashes, the 911 Booms — Should You Buy Now or Wait?
Summary:
Porsche stock in 2026 is a contradiction on wheels: Sales of the best-selling 718 model are winding down, and sales in China have plummeted by 32%—yet the legendary 911 is up 19%, and Porsche ranks first in the key U.S. quality study by J.D. Power. Since its IPO in September 2022 at EUR 82.50, the stock has lost about 46% and is currently trading at around EUR 44–45. CEO Michael Leiters has declared 2026 the year of realignment—Cayenne production is moving to Leipzig, job cuts are underway, and Capital Markets Day in October will unveil the 2035 strategy. Citigroup has a price target of 56 EUR, while JPMorgan has an “Overweight” rating with a target of 50 EUR. Q2 results are due on July 29—the next key date.
Key points:
H1 2026: 122,306 deliveries (−16% YoY) — China −32%, North America −13% 911: +19% to 30,534 vehicles — the only model showing growth Cayenne Electric: Deliveries began in late June — positive dealer feedback 718 series: −73% — production ends in October 2025, no direct successor Q1 2026: Revenue −5.2% to 8.40 billion EUR, EBIT −22% to 595 million EUR2026 full-year forecast confirmed: 35–36 billion EUR in revenue, margin 5.5–7.5%Analysts: Citigroup 56 EUR · JPMorgan 50 EUR · Deutsche Bank 45 EUR · RBC 41 EURNext quarterly results (Q2): July 29, 2026
$P911 (-3.5%) Is this a buy for you, or just as much of a flop as the other German automakers?
News of the Week
As we do every Sunday, here are the top news stories from the past week:
Monday:
Huge contract for the German naval contractor $DE000TKMS001 (+0.25%) TKMS. The company is reportedly set to build submarines for Canada worth 62 billion euros. The stock rose significantly.
Tuesday:
The oil company $XOM (+0.09%) Exxon Mobil expects a significant jump in profits for the second quarter due to higher oil prices. The profit jump is expected to amount to up to 5 billion USD. However, revenue from the gas business is having a dampening effect.
Thursday:
Sugar producer$SZU (-0.26%) Südzucker is significantly more profitable. The Mannheim-based company is also raising its full-year revenue forecast to a range of 8.1–8.5 billion euros.
Sales of $P911 (-3.5%) Porsche plummeted by 16% to 122,306 vehicles in the first half of the year. Porsche is now once again selling more cars in Germany than in China. The 911, however, offers cause for optimism, with sales of that model rising by 19%.
On the Path to Financial Freedom - June Update 📊
June marks the end of my second-worst month on the stock market since I started keeping records... It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. But hey, you’ve got to be among the worst performers sometimes so that things can get better again in the future! 😉
Here’s an overview of the portfolio in May:
👉🏻 June:
Starting balance: 1,398,020 euros + 72.39 cash
End: 1,219,254 euros + 428 cash
Deposit: -3,000 euros
Loss: -175,410 euros (-12.55%)
The loss is mainly due to the continued decline in the price of gold and the associated drop in mining stock prices. For this reason, I remain calm about this situation, because anyone who has been investing in mining stocks for a while is familiar with these fluctuations. At this point, there’s no need to worry about it yet.
In addition to mining stocks, however, automotive stocks $P911 (-3.5%) (Porsche) and $VOW (-1.01%) (Volkswagen), as well as Chinese stocks $BABA (-1.35%) (Alibaba), $PDD (-0.82%) (PDD Holding), and $1810 (-0.12%) (Xiaomi). I selectively bought more shares in these.
In addition to the (unrealized) price losses, there were also a few instances of profit-taking here and there this month. On the bright side, this month also marked my strongest dividend month of the year—and of all time. All in all, I received 16,600 euros in gross dividends. The main contributors were Volkswagen, Porsche, and—by far the best dividend payer— $BIJ (+0.53%) (Bijou Brigitte) 👍🏼
I’d say I’ll check this month off my list and look forward to July—after all, it seems to be off to a reasonably good start. If that isn’t a good omen... 😊
Bad months are just part of the deal!
➡️🆓: On my way toward 4 million in total assets, I’m now 40.35% of the way there.
Here’s to successful stock market trades! 😊
If only 25% of my positions were in the black, that would really bug me :)
HOT STOCKS | Porsche shifts up a gear & Zoetis is now CHEAP!
🔥 Two hot stocks in focus - one already in the portfolio, the other still waiting to be entered: Zoetis and Porsche. Both stocks are currently delivering breaking news with direct price implications. Fundamental analysis, chart analysis and specific trading scenarios - all in one video.
📉 Zoetis - the crash as an entry opportunity? The annual forecast was surprisingly lowered - as a result, the share price slumped by almost 27% and marked a new low for the year at EUR 70.48. CEO Kristin Peck cited a broad deterioration in the US business as the main cause: pet owners showed increased price sensitivity, which led to fewer visits to the vet and weaker demand for premium products. Rival Elanco, on the other hand, raised its sales targets - competition from new products such as Zenrelia and Credelio Quattro is squeezing Zoetis directly in its core areas. Fundamentally, the share is currently 63% below fair value - with further rising profits, growing cash flow and a dividend yield of 2.6% with annual dividend growth of 20%. In terms of the chart: wait and see between USD 67 and 85.
🚗 Porsche - painful restructuring as a turnaround signal? Porsche is closing three subsidiaries at once: the battery unit Cellforce, the e-bike division and the software subsidiary Cetitec - over 500 employees are affected. CEO Michael Leiters classifies the measures as painful but necessary - the market interpreted the move as a decisive turnaround signal. The trend is pointing upwards: After the change in liquidity at the all-time low, Porsche overcomes the EUR 40 mark again. Price targets: EUR 48, 55 and 58-63.
What is your opinion on $P911 (-3.5%) and $ZTS (+1.11%) ??
Summarizing stock exchange trade fair
Yesterday was an exciting day at the trade fair -
The rejuvenation of the audience in particular is an interesting signal for the equity culture.
The fact that the crypto stage is less popular with the older generation fits in with the picture of classic value orientation.
Here are the most frequently discussed stocks of yesterday:
High-Growth & Tech (US & International)
$ANET (-2.19%) Networks
* Value: Leading provider of cloud networking solutions, benefits massively from the expansion of AI infrastructure.
* P/E ratio: Valued at a rather sporty 48, but reflects the high growth.
* Chart: Shows strong relative strength; first attempts to break out of the consolidation above the 50-day moving average visible.
* Conclusion: A clear beneficiary of the "shovel seller" principle in the AI boom.
$$TTWO (+1.28%) Interactive
* Value: Gaming giant (GTA VI anticipation). Strong strategic position, but high development costs.
* P/E ratio: Currently negative or extremely high due to special effects/investments; adjusted (forward) at approx. 56.
* Chart: In a correction phase since the all-time high in fall 2025; currently looking for a bottom at approx. 150-160 USD.
* Conclusion: A bet on the release of GTA VI - for patient investors with strong nerves.
* Value: Market leader in cloud-based cybersecurity. "Best-in-class platform approach.
* P/E ratio: Very high (over 80 forward), as growth comes before profit maximization.
* Dividend
* Chart: Medium-term trend currently negative, struggling with the USD 400 mark.
* Conclusion: Quality share in the security sector, but valuation leaves little room for disappointment.
(China corner)
* Value: Cyclical China stocks. JD (e-commerce) fundamentally cheap, Xpeng (EV) technologically strong but in a price war.
* P/E ratio: JD very favorable (approx. 8), Xpeng negative (loss zone).
* Chart: Both volatile; strongly dependent on the economic measures from Beijing.
* Conclusion: Only suitable as a speculative portfolio addition.
Established stocks & DAX stocks
* Value: Europe's cloud heavyweight. The transformation to a subscription model is bearing fruit.
* P/E ratio: approx. 25, which is historically fair for the current profitability.
* Dividend: Reliable payer, yield approx. 1.2 % to 1.6 %.
* Chart: Long-term upward trend intact, recently slight profit-taking at a high level.
* Conclusion: The "basic investment" in the European tech sector.
* Value: Restructuring case with legal risks (glyphosate) and high debt.
* P/E ratio: Visually low (single-digit on a cash flow basis), but distorted by losses.
* Chart: In free fall or bottomless mode; no clear trend change in sight.
* Conclusion: Only for turnaround speculators with extreme staying power.
$P911 (-3.5%) (P911)
* Value: Luxury sports car manufacturer, struggling with the transition to e-mobility and weak demand in China.
* P/E ratio: approx. 10-12, which looks cheap but prices in falling margins.
* Dividend: Currently approx. 6% (note: analysts expect cuts!).
* Chart: Very weak, trading near all-time lows.
* Conclusion: The brand is worth its weight in gold, but the market environment is currently difficult.
Brief check of the remaining stocks:
Both in the "dog sector" (solar/biotech) - fundamentally under pressure, chart technically in the basement.
$6758 (+1.76%) Solid value/entertainment mix, P/E ratio approx. 15, fairly valued.
$TSLA (-3.46%) Remains the polarizing vehicle between AI hype and weakening sales figures.
sales figures.
$9880 (-5.27%) robotics :
Highly speculative niche themes (AI infrastructure/robotics), more for the gambler's portfolio.
Dates week 12
As every Sunday, the most important news from the past week, as well as the most important dates for the coming week. Also as a video:

Monday:
Industrial production in Germany fell slightly in January, but on a 3-month horizon Germany is in the black. This also has to do with the defense industry, where Germany is now the fourth largest exporter in the world and has overtaken China

Tuesday:
As was already the case at $MBG (+0.73%) Mercedes, Volkswagen's profit is halved. Instead of 12.4 billion euros, it was only 6.9 billion euros. Turnover remained largely stable at 322 billion euros. However, the profit margin is now only wafer-thin. In addition to the well-known problems in China and the USA, this is also due to problems at Audi and $P911 (-3.5%) Porsche.
$BOSS (-0.15%) HUGO BOSS surprises on the stock market. The Group delivers above expectations in almost all key figures. Sales fell slightly to around 4.27 billion euros. Profit rose by 17% to 249 million euros. The dividend is cut to 4 cents, but the company buys its own shares. The outlook of a slight decline in turnover for 2026 is confirmed.
Wednesday:
The International Energy Agency proposes the release of part of the oil reserve of 400 million barrels. The reason for this is the enormous increase in oil costs and the shortage caused by the war in Iran. However, supply bottlenecks are expected more in Asia than in Europe.
Friday:
$VOW3 (-1.73%) Volkswagen is once again the market leader in China. Because Beijing is cutting subsidies, BYD is losing $1211 (+0.78%) BYD loses its market leadership again. Without state subsidies, VW's cars seem to be more convincing.
The most important dates for the coming week:
Wednesday: 20:00 Interest rate decision (USA)
Thursday: 13:00 Interest rate decision (UK)
Thursday: 14:15 Interest rate decision (EUR)

What did I take with me?
It is not a crisis because >\=20% down but a good entry into tranches.
Which stocks were discussed?
$P911 (-3.5%) Unfortunately I've been in Porsche since 2023, when luxury comes back, the Chinese will buy Porsche and not locally
$ABX and $NEM (-1.48%) Barrick and Newmont buy the shovels not the gold. Gold is for value preservation, not for speculation. I was invested in mines decades ago.
$MC (+0.95%) LVMH surprised me, I thought the air was out, will have a look.
$META (-1.77%) I finally understood how Facebook makes money. There's still a lot to come. First purchase?
$GOOGL (+0.35%) Yes, I've been adding to my portfolio since 25.
$H1PE34 Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I only knew it as a hardware manufacturer, here is the shovel for AI Ai chips.
$9988 (-1.68%) and $9888 (-1.84%) Chinese Baidu and Alibaba. I also had it 10 years ago, after the high it went down bloody. But will probably be seen again as a turnaround and cash flow for 2025.
$TTD (+2.64%) I was not aware of Trade Desk until today.
$22U Biontech became known as a corona profiteer, but is looking for the cancer vaccine.
These 10 stocks were discussed as stronger buys on the spot.
