I am 24 years old, a student and have been actively investing for almost two years. Like many people, my goal is simply financial freedom and not to depend on the pension system later on

I follow a hybrid strategy: a stable ETF core combined with concentrated individual stocks where I have real conviction. No active trading, but buy and hold, unless I notice that a share is getting hot, then I sell and buy again at a lower price when it has corrected.

My underlying strategy:

in the first few years, I blindly followed many trends and other "finfluencers" and didn't always make good and wise decisions as a result. When I invest in individual stocks now, I do so with conviction and that they are future-oriented and will bring me long-term returns.

I would like to reduce the USA share to ~55% in the medium term

I have around €2,500 in cash that I would like to invest now. On my watchlist: $ISRG (-1.81%) Intuitive Surgical , $ACN (-0.41%) Accenture, Space X and $POET (-4.5%) Poet Technologies $AXTI (-6.99%)

I know it's not an exciting portfolio rather basic but maybe I would like to change that :)

You can only call it a massacre what happened today at $POET (-4.5%) today.

Marvell has pulled the plug after the CFO of $POET (-4.5%) publicly confirmed a business relationship with Marvell, which they interpret as a breach of confidentiality agreements.

The photonics industry has virtually completed its first major cycle - some players are still taking the last leg, others are already making corrections.

One basic idea is the difference in weight between electrons and photons, which massively reduces the energy required to transmit a datum in transmission lines - keyword fiber optics.

The more interesting part, however, is the spreading of the binary logic in light wavelengths in the CPU in order to be able to calculate in a defined space/frame with a higher base than 2. These analog protocol options are physically unlimited, as there is no longer a base number.

In my view, this is one of the most disruptive markets of the next few years.

From a chart technical point of view $CRDO bottoming out since the beginning of February, accumulation is still possible. Average price target $199 (+86%).

After I reported 2 weeks ago on the first order won by $POET (-4.5%) two weeks ago, after a few ups and downs, the share price finally took off today.

The share had formed a nice cup-and-handle formation and broke out to the upside today. We have reached a new ATH and I assume that it will continue. This is supported by the good news of the last few days:

• POET is looking for a "Yield Enhancement Principal Engineer", which is needed if they want to ramp up production fully -> speaks for more orders to come
• A single investor has stepped in with $75 million
• Another award has been won, this time silver for "AI Technology of the year"

This news prompted me to buy more shares yesterday, as the potential commercial success of POET now seems increasingly tangible. In terms of potential, I still see a potential tenbagger.

@Multibagger I hope you were able to build up a position after all, or maybe you'll get on the bandwagon, which to be honest has already gone a long way. I hadn't reckoned with almost +50% in one day.

$POET (-4.5%) has finally received its first order. Even though sales are still very low at USD 500,000, it is a start. The validation phase with other potential customers is still ongoing and could result in further orders at the end of 2025 / beginning of 2026.

This could be the starting signal for something really big. If things go well, we are looking at a potential tenbagger.

A good entry point today at $POET (-4.5%) today. However, I didn't expect it to go up so quickly straight away. 🚀

As Poet is not yet generating any sales, my position is very small in order to limit the risk. However, as soon as the first tier 1 customer places an order, the share should really take off. I am toying with the idea of increasing the stake.
