The new 60/40 Portolio / Incrementum Gold Report
I just came across the Gold Report by Liechtenstein investment advisor Incrementum via the daily newspaper Welt. It deals with the changing situation of gold as an investment. And, interestingly, it also looks at Bitcoin in detail. BTC skeptic @sobrius has just examined this section in more detail.
Bonds have never interested me personally. And in most of the portfolios shared here on Getquin, they only play a marginal role. But I have already seen the graphic on the right here in different variations. So the 60/40 portfolio, which invests in assets that are more decoupled from inflation, is not that "new". But PR also comes to a head sometimes.
My gold cushion is actually also the best-performing item in my portfolio, which is a bit of a pain ;-) As a result, I now spend more time studying and sifting through information.
The Incrementum report is a whopping 441 pages long. Have a look when you get a chance and let me know what you think: https://www.incrementum.li/journal/das-neue-gold-playbook-in-gold-we-trust-report-2024/

That's why I came up with the following allocation for B&H, which offers the best risk/reward profile and is also simple and intuitive:
50% ACWI, 25% gold, 25% BTC.
So far, however, I only know of @Testo-Investor that comes close. 👍

Portfolio update & your opinion.
Hey, after a long time of watching and following how you have built and expanded your portfolios, I wanted to share my portfolio on Trade Republic.
About me:
I'm 21 years old, I'm doing a study-integrated apprenticeship as an electrician, which means I'm doing a normal apprenticeship as an electrician for energy and building technology and on top of that I'm studying business administration specifically for small and medium-sized companies. I have set up my own small business on the side and mainly invest all my earnings.
My average savings rate is €200-400 per month.
I follow a dividend strategy, hence so much in Mercedes-Benz.
In the long term, I have chosen the FTSE-ALL-World from Vanguard and have a savings plan of usually €200.
At the moment, however, I'm more focused on crypto and would like to expand this area further, i.e. increase my holdings of XRP, Polkadot, Solana and Polygon. I also own ETH, but it's too expensive for me at the moment, so I'm focusing on the cheaper cryptos mentioned above.
I think there will be another correction in the crypto sector next year and will then buy more and accordingly I am currently only planning with savings plans on the above-mentioned cryptos.
I am looking forward to your opinion, what would you recommend?
I am currently in an apprenticeship and set aside €170 every month Looking for good ETFs for the future Does anyone have any suggestions? #etfs

Good luck Getquin Community!
Today I would like to introduce you to my portfolio!
About me:
I'm 27 years old and work as a mechatronics engineer in mechanical engineering.
My goal is to create a pension plan and passive income through dividends, which should feed the savings plans themselves in the first step & possibly be used at some point to make one-off payments on a house loan or similar.
Further future plans:
I am interested in buying my own home in the future.
To this end, I have been saving €100k in a building society savings plan since this January with €100 + €40 VL (not yet entered in the portfolio), which will secure me a loan interest rate of 1.25%.
I want to increase the monthly savings amount here if necessary. However, I am unsure as it is "dead money". (0.1% interest)
I can access the loan after a year by making special payments of any amount free of charge.
However, when it comes to the house, I have to say that I've never really been sure how best to go about it.🤔😅
About my individual shares:
Here I have chosen a mix of dividend & growth stocks.
There's definitely a toad (3D Systems) among the shares that I want to get rid of.
I also need to rethink some of my German stocks.
Admittedly, I was a bit naive there.🤦🏼♂️
Cryptos:
I've been saving BTC & ETH here for a while.
Cronos/Crypto.com is no longer worth mentioning for me.
If I were to say that I understand everything about crypto, I'd have to lie... it's practically a lottery substitute for me.🎰
Gold:
Here I'm hedging EUWAX Gold 2 in the same ratio as my cryptos.
I have decided to "couple" the risk of cryptos with the security of gold.😄
Monthly savings plans:
150€ Vanguard FTSE All World (accumulating)
15€ Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets (distributing)
50€ UnitedHealth
25€ BAT
25€ DHL
30€ EUWAX 2 Gold
20€ Bitcoin
10€ Ethereum
140€ Building society
(As I will almost certainly exceed the tax-free amount this year, I will save the AllWorld as an accumulator from 15.02.)
I would be very happy to receive opinions and suggestions on the portfolio and the home ownership topic!
Whether you save in an EM alongside the $VWCE is a matter of taste. The EMs are already included in the All-World.
I think the building society saver is an interesting choice, but I don't know whether it wouldn't have made more sense to park the money in call money/fixed-term deposits until you need it to buy a property.
Your investment goal is retirement provision. Dividends would be disadvantageous for me due to the reduced taxable hours, but that's personal preference. In the end, the strategy has to suit you.
hello, does anyone have an idea how you can insert your cash part of the portfolio? so for example you save xy€ and transfer it from an account to the deposit account.... how can this be mapped here in the app? or do you include this point in your rating at all?
