Hello together
Even if it doesn't come close to reflecting what some people are imagining here, I'm still quite happy with how things are going.
To explain :
I'm saving with the aim of increasing my money in 15/20 years, which I can invest in my house.
I started thinking about this a little over a year ago and did a bit of research to find out what might be best.
So I started slowly with an ETF savings plan #msciworld and also bought shares in Apple and Amazon out of interest. Later, I added another savings plan #sp500
The Tesla share was free at the time :)
Things are not looking so rosy for BYD in my portfolio at the moment, but I believe in the brand and think it will rise in the coming years.
I also wanted to see what would happen with crypto and if you believe the entire flow of information, Solana will also make considerable gains in the next few years.
Bitcoin, yes certainly a fun investment, where now the outcry will surely come FOMO :) but hey....I have Bitcoin 🤣
All in all, I'm not going to get rich with this portfolio, but my main focus is on long-term investing so that I can liquidate my ETF savings plans when I'm a bit older (I'm 42) and invest in my house.
All better (I hope) than traditional saving.
I'll also think about whether I should continue to increase my ETF savings rates, as I'm also saving "classically" for my nest egg (house repairs and other things) at the same time.
