The call money craze goes into the next round: 3% interest at the $INGA 📈💰
There have been some recent developments that may be of interest to many of us. Interest rates on overnight deposit accounts are gradually rising and banks are competing to attract customers with the highest interest rates.
One notable announcement recently came from ING: they are now offering an incredible 3% interest on their overnight deposit account, and not only for new customers, but also for existing customers (for the first 6 months).
But what is behind this "call money madness"? The answer is simple: ING and other banks are looking to attract new customers and retain existing ones in order to grow their business. The rising interest rates are a reaction to the general rise in inflation and a way for banks to offer their customers a higher return on their savings.
As investors, it is important to keep an eye on these developments and carefully consider which overnight deposit offers are best suited for our needs. While a higher interest rate may be tempting, we should also consider the bank's fees, terms and security.
My savings are currently in my Trade Republic clearing account, on which I currently receive 2% interest. That's why I decided not to switch to ING.
What do you guys think? Would you switch to another bank for higher interest rates or are you happy with your current interest rate? 💰
Hello dear community,
We will be parents for the first time next March and I want to start thinking about ETFs (savings plan) for the junior portfolio.
We have the All-World ETFs (Vanguard/ MSCI), MSCI World and S&P500 to choose from.
You also have to decide whether you want an accumulating or distributing ETF. The custody account is opened via ING.
Of course, only one will be selected in the end.
I already have a favorite, but I would still like to know which one you would choose from the selection or perhaps you have already chosen one for your offspring?
Thank you very much and have a nice Saturday evening! ✌🏼🖖🏼
Actually, I thought that the ESG hype is at the bottom and no one cares anymore.😅
Then comes the $INGA comes around the corner and offers me the "Girokonto Future".😂 I don't get any new functions with it.
I don't get any new features with it, but I'm supposed to pay one euro for my free checking account then, so that the balance is used based on the "sustainability criteria" and ING pays 1€ every month to a social or ecological project.
So it's like I'm donating money, but without a donation receipt.🙈
Do your banks also offer something like this, or do they try to lure the money out of your pockets with something like this?
@Kundenservice is there a known error with the ING-Depot integration? I have to enter the access data again. So last 10 digits of my iban and also the Internet banking PIN. However, it does not work. In addition, it says that for ING customers, exactly this message that you should enter the last 10 digits of your IBAN and the Internet banking PIN is displayed incorrectly. Which of the two is now the case? In any case, my purchases do not update and when I enter the (required) data I am shown that they are wrong (which is not true).
does anyone else have this problem? #transaktionen

Hello everyone!
Have you already received your annual tax statement for 2023 from ING?
According to the website, it should be ready in March - but I'm missing it for several accounts (personal & family account)
Best regards,
Alex
