Apparently there is already since last month at Commerzbank the Topzinskonto Plus with currently 3.0% p.a. call money for 6 months. Subsequently, an interest rate of 0.6% p.a.😂
I learned it only today through an advertisement and accordingly opened as a Commerzbank customer directly the additional overnight deposit account. As a customer super easy, no 5 minutes it took. At a foreign bank I do not bother for 0.5% more. If someone is still at Commerzbank and lives like me behind the moon I can only recommend😌.
Let's see what happens in 6 months with my nest egg. Probably back to Trade Republic if nothing else tangible comes up. I leave my nest egg specifically uninvested, so no $XEON
Where do you park your nest egg?
Onvista Bank and thus also the broker cease operations.
The Commerzbank ($CBK ) subsidiary intends to cease business operations.
New customers have not been accepted for a while and existing customers have to find a new broker for the transfer.
(Incidentally, if you want to join the parent company, you have to open a new securities account).
Some Onvista users I know have already started switching, even if it is already time.
Flatex tends to be quite high up in the rankings, rather than the classic new brokers.
APAS has now ruled in the case of EY/ $WDI decided:
Fine for EY and no new mandates from public interest entities for 2 years.
Personally, I think the penalty imposed by the supervisory authority is still relatively low.
Half a million is not that much when you consider that auditors were fined 300,000€ in some cases...
I'm also very curious about the lawsuit filed by Commerzbank and what will come out of it.
