Two key points: Family businesses and, in some cases, the least affected market in Germany in terms of regulation and energy intensity.

I work in IT in a German office and can say that Bechtle won a recent tender (storage environment) but has not been able to finalize the project for 1 year. The office has now declared the whole thing a failure and is currently at the legal table discussing who/how/where/when broke the contract.
So it looks like Bechtle will not be doing any more projects for BRD in the future, and the two parties (Bechtle + BRD) may sue each other. Bechtle has completely lost its reputation here.
Just a little insider insight.
