My first stock was Coca Cola ... I then sold at a profit and converted my portfolio to options trading.... But honestly I miss my Coke shares😅 hope that doesn't happen to you but honestly I don't think that will happen to you either👍

@DonkeyInvestor well, if another "Corona" dip comes along, I would say all in🤣

@Andreas1991 I've saved enough cash as equity for a property that I might not buy after all 😁😎🚀

@DonkeyInvestor I like to advise against buying a house, first of all there would be the property tax, compulsory insurance, water costs and then heating costs etc.... Then it's better to invest in cash flow in case you get a bill that doesn't even pay off your nest egg..... But to each his own😅

@Andreas1991 was 100 percent sure about buying a property until a few months ago. I've now looked into it and am now more in favor of renting. I'll write a post about it soon

@DonkeyInvestor As I said, I had to replace the heating in my house because it was 30 years old but its values are still green (thanks to Germany).... And that costs around 30-50k euros.... I have hard water and had to buy an expensive fine filter which is also worth another 10k because my mother can't remove limescale when you wash her. Then floor repairs.... So I have now paid a total of 100k extra.

Let's move on to a statistic about inheritance. More and more children move away from their parents and then look for an apartment and live in it until they get married. They don't really look after their parents, who are increasingly going into nursing homes/retirement homes.

To be honest, I understand that more and more every day. Luckily I don't have to help my mother too much with getting dressed, I've built a few things for her and she can still walk up the stairs. (Kitchen and dining room 1st floor) but then there are the doctor's visits, administering medication etc. You just have less time for yourself or your partner. I think if it wasn't for my mother, with whom I went from upper middle class to poverty to middle class again, I wouldn't take such care of her.
