It's never too late 😜

After successfully changing jobs last year, I unfortunately cannot continue my company pension plan with my new employer and have shut it down.

At the new employer, there's the classic VL.

But the simply sink in the Bausparer very I currently no added value for me, which is why I have opted for Oskar VL save.

Thanks to the community I became aware of this type in the first place. Thanks goes out to @Koenigmidas for his post I think over a year ago.

So fix opened an account 😁 that's really fast.

Then off with the certificate to the payroll office so they know where to put all the money (irony 😂, but more like nothing so of course we do not want to complain). Incredulous looks 👀, Oskar? What is this? We have never had here (about 400 employees and all have that on the Bausparer 😜).

It's been running since this week. First receipt of money and today the first statements found in the app and of course immediately entered here🚀.

So the accumulation from Etfs will be fed by AG in the future. Well, I like that🚀.

The problem I only had is that with the rising value of the Oskar portfolio the fees also rise.So I applied for a depot transfer. The whole were transferred to the Ing Depot the fractions have remained on it and the vl continues to run. From 880€auf 40€.it has circa 2Wochen dauern.werde the now always so handle at a certain value.Schöne Grüße und viel Spaß damit🥂🍾

As far as I know, every employer in Germany must offer its employees a company pension plan. I believe this is even regulated by law. In addition, the employer also saves on wage costs due to social security. He has to give a part of it to the employee as a subsidy (10 or 15% of the savings rate of the employee) but the bottom line is that the employer saves. So it's pretty stupid if he doesn't do that.

I was also faced with the decision. But since I still have a building savings contract running anyway (sorry for the disillusionment), I decided to put the VL in the building savings because the fees at Oskar & Co were too high for me. The money, which I don't have to put into the building society anymore, goes of course additionally into the deposit. But if you don't have a building savings contract at all, this is definitely the best option!

My employer pays 130€ /month into the baV and I pay nothing at all. That is enough. 😅

Welcome to Club Oskar VL👌

With Oskar, keep an eye on the charged fees and charges. This can reduce the return on smaller volumes quite a bit.

May I ask which variant it has become? Probably Oskar 90? The 100 no longer seems to exist?
