When I sometimes see your invested amounts, I feel like a gnat with the 30-40€ I have to invest per month😀

Fortunately, I'll have €50 more to invest next month as I've stopped smoking😛 yay!

It is better to invest small amounts than none at all.

@Mike1990 oh yes you say es💪🏼

You should not compare yourself with others.
Everyone has a different story, different goals and different means to achieve them.
We are all here to share and help each other 🙂

Tobacco investors will not be happy about this :D. From my side: Everything done right!

@Luffy3D2Y I can still cope with it😉😂

@Habgieriger_Halunke You wouldn't say that if he was responsible for 10% of the consumption ;D
profile image
@Luffy3D2Y depends on what he has smoked😂
With Marlboro I wouldn't mind, would even be rather good

Most people your age invest 0. Just keep increasing the savings rate year after year 🚀

@investorsapiens Slowly but sicher💪🏼

@Testo-Investor would now say, then make more money!!! 😂😂💯

@DonkeyKongx I am still a student and only have a mini-job🥲

profile image
@DonkeyKongx normal, but as a student I didn't have any money either and had other things on my mind than saving 😂

profile image
@Fra05 is already mega! Keep going! 50€ is better than 0€ just try to invest as much as possible !!! But with 50€ hopefully only in 1 etf

profile image
@Testo-Investor I'm right there with you, but now I'm more of a role model for the siblings😄 @Fra05 you're doing everything right, keep going!🫡💯

@DonkeyKongx I'm just a role model for those around me... I just help people I think are good to make better decisions... quite a few people are now saving in the sp500 or the acwi, for example... I think that's pretty cool :-) I was even able to convince my girlfriend... that's saying something

@Testo-Investor the biggest compliment from my environment is to be an inspiration, that's like honey on my soul 😄 seems to be the same with you, I think that's great & we're still working on one or the other way boss 😄🤝

@DonkeyKongx I rarely hear that now ... I'm too brash for that 😂😂 but of course I know exactly what you mean ... we are doing and not just talking ... that's the great strength ... I often notice .... The normal person just talks and would have and wanted blah blah blah... I just buy bam. I read up on a topic, become a little expert in a very short time and can sell my knowledge very well ... I can also be very convincing if I believe in it myself!

@Testo-Investor it was a struggle to convince my girlfriend, who now also has a savings plan in an etf and has already made €50 with €500. I still have to persuade her not to leave everything in a savings account where she only gets 2% interest 🤦‍♂️

profile image
@Ardo Women... Savings accounts are of course completely stupid... just show her what you get with 2% a month and what you get with 4% and what you get with 8% on the stock market.... Sure, a backup is good....
1
profile image
@Testo-Investor yes, I couldn't even convince her of the 4% on TR 🤦‍♂️. She is so suspicious that she thinks why should companies distribute profits to shareholders.

Quitting smoking gives you 10 more years to live.

Every little bit helps. 50€ in 20 years at 5% is also a good 20k and a granny has to knit for a long time for that...💪🏻

Not so long ago we also had someone who stopped smoking and invested the savings in tobacco shares.
He used to make the money himself and now he earns from other smokers.

No matter, the main thing

If you're a student, as I was able to gather. Then you still have many years ahead of you 👍 At some point you'll be glad you started with small amounts now
1
profile image
@Koebbi yes I'm still a student, at some point it will be worth it as you already mentioned😁

Everyone started small. OK, not everyone, but many. It's important to stick with it.

Best decision

That's perfectly okay. You can always do better. Most people don't even manage the 30-40€. Just keep trying to reduce your expenses. Quitting smoking is already great👍 and if possible increase your professional income.🙂

@Radicans I try to save where I can😃
I'm still a student and only have a mini-job but try to earn a little extra money on the side
@Fra05 then the €30-40 is very good👍
Always stick with it, never give up, even in difficult market phases. Many fail because they stop at some point when setbacks occur. Always learn from your mistakes.

Smoking sucks. Congratulations on quitting!!! 🐴

At home, we were always told: "Other people are no yardstick for us."
So screw it and do your thing.

best motivator to stick to it (probably the most nonsensical habit anyway) - congratulations!

If it's any consolation, my savings plans are also only €50

Congratulations on becoming a non-smoker 🙏

The main thing is to understand that it is important to make your money work. So you are investing 40 euros more than most people in this country, you have to be aware of this and just continue on your way ;)

99% of people don't invest at all, investing even small amounts makes you one of the 1% ;)

The main thing is that you invest, zählt👍🏻

Never mind - just get on with it 💰💰🙂

I feel the same way at 250 euro a month. Even smaller amounts compound over long term.

profile image
@Joostkroes I think 250 euros a month is a lot. I hope you achieve your goals!

Don't be put off, some of the big-headed comments here (which are unfortunately too many) regularly give me the 🤮

Everyone has their options. If it's €40 for you, it's great if you save it. Keep up the good work 👍
