Step one would be to boycott the traffic light. Whether Cdu/Csu/Afd and so on... everything that is more right-wing than the Spd is better than the Spd (I'm no friend of the AfD, but I'd rather have a few Nazis in the ranks of the AfD than a bunch of left-wing clowns).

@justusmerkel258 If the traffic lights don't work, the rule is: right before left ;-).

@justusmerkel258 Left-wing clowns have never led us into a world war.

I don't think much of the current decision-makers either, but if you take a close look at the AfD party platform - which I have done - you can see that they have no idea how to solve the prevailing problems in a way that benefits the majority of society and sets our country up for the future. At the moment, they simply have the advantage that they can rant about the dilettantish behavior of the government as the opposition and don't have to shine with constructive policies themselves. What's more, I can't think of any other party that has attracted attention with as many donation scandals in its short history as the AfD. They are a bunch of agitators and charlatans. Moreover, it's not just a few Nazis - and even that would be too many - and they are now setting the direction of the party, as the resignations of moderate (founding) members and their statements show. Again, I don't think much of Scholz and co. but here we see an increasingly radicalizing party that, if given power, will lead this country to a point we hopefully don't want to go back to.

@Pogotopia? That was just my opinion on the German government's hostility towards companies. Is there anything wrong with that? Then please be constructive.

@SteelAnacott Actually, I think you're right. Most people are more likely to vote for the AfD out of spite or to counter "more left-wing than before" with "extreme right". I just always find it difficult to directly label the AfD as fascists and Nazis instead of constructively attacking them (which is certainly possible). That's why I defended them a little. I'm also sure that they could have some positive points. But she's still too extreme and too inexperienced for me. But I also think it's critical to see that there has been a clear shift to the left in recent decades that many Germans don't like. We just have to be careful that we don't end up with more and more extreme parties.

@risk_taker_279 No, you don't have to be a Nazi, but you vote for Nazis and give them power. And once they have it, there is no second attempt, no more rethinking, that's it! We've been through this before, we all know where it ended. Back then too, out of fear, many people voted for a party that promised them security and economic growth but brought them poverty, war and death. And now nobody has to tell me that it's completely different with the AfD. In 1933, probably very few people would have expected that six years later the barrier would be thrown down on the border with Poland.
